this shows script is an utter mess which is exactly why the trend of making fanfictions and amateru works into actual movies and shows needs to die. As a fellow hobby writer as well, there are simply some stories that don't work for a broader audience beyond Wattpad and Ao3 readers.

I think the female lead is doing really well acting wise, some of the others too but a few do stand out negatively.

Why do I feel like they constantly rush through pretty important although traumatic plot points? "Oh hey Jay-Jay so you were nearly raped but oh well, let's have fall break now and dance cutely at a halloween party." Like huuuuh? We just gonna gloss over the trauma? Not to forget we still haven't let her talk it out with them about revealing her boyfriend strangling her at the hospital (ngl these plots are giving Meredith Grey kinda life iykyk). The wattpad is wattpad-ing for sure.
