Guangyao wasn't angry on him or u can say he is... from my POV at that time wuxian was the maate of demonic magic and each and everyone were afraid of wei Ying but guangyao always had to stay under his father's feet no matter what he does for him.... so he started to learn black magic and wanted to become capable enough as wei Ying so that everyone follow him.. and he can rule the kingdom.... but that time if he does those things publically then no matter how powerful he is lanzhan , Wei wuxian and other clans would never let him go.. so he decided to do such things behind and plotted to proof that Wei wuxian is the guilty .. bcs first of all he was jealous and also high ambitious person ... and secondly if he could prove wei guilty kill him then others would not know about his demonic magic practicing .. and the way to become successor of jin clan has been cleared by killing ji zixuan.... even if wei have been proved guilty and being killed then no one can investigate about the truth... yhus guangyao would be successor of jin clan and will be the most powerful person enough to rule the 4 clans ..... and just bcs of wei wuxian's death there will have no competitor of him in black magic .. it's totally my POV
