After finishing VOS wanted to explore actor tian jiarui more so someone suggested me this one and I am so glad I found this masterpiece. Really deserve the hype also found both have same director. Here I found another great actor, huminghao. Currently watching love in the clouds for him. I have to mention both hmh and rui are my favorite Chinese actors now. The disappointing thing is that fans of one actor is attacking the other... I don't clearly understand the hate when both actors seemed really friendly in real life..?? This comment section always been like this???
Can anybody tell me of it has a happy and satisfying ending? and how is the romance??
Somewhat happy ending for both couple because it is a little bittersweet but the director has a reputation for sad ending so this is far better and romance is peak. Give it a try you will like it
Since the discussion already started let me remind you rumors are called rumors for a reason as far i know no actors or their studios confirmed about making season 2, so don't start hating on actors based on a rumor now. And tjr and yan an are under gjm company if he cast them for this there is nothing much they could about it. Hate the director and the platform all you want not actors who are innocent
Just read ruirui's farewell massage...wow he keep surprising with talents. first opera now this, he is really good with words. The more i know about him the more I fall for him. He act so well also understands his characters and their emotions deeply. He improvised each character in his own style rather than simply following the director's cues, that's why each character feels so unique and real to me. His 6 characters are so different and unique despite played by same actor which made people surprised. As an actor he can carry really complicated roles perfectly and audience never will be disappointed. He can act as cheerful jiling(puppet) and cold and quite longshen then he merged them together to jiling who is calm and quite like longshen but his cheerful personality comes out when he is with his awu. And his partner Ju jingyi is also an outstanding actress, it's my first time watching her and I am completely hooked. Hope for more collaborations in the future with a director who is less obsessed with trauma. Both of them made my heart ache for jilu every time they were on the screen... Hope more directors realize the talent rui have and entrust him with more good roles like this (also the villian role he always wanted). I know he is doing really well right now hope everything goes well in the future too. Instead of saying more popular/famous i want more people to see him and his effort also hope the love,happiness,and positive energy he keep spreading reach more people in the future

why did jiling die after giving his dragon scale to luwuyi? he was just an ordinary fox before he got the dragon scale right? so why cant he be just an ordinary fox again??
