What I understand is that
Ichiro went mad and didnt want Shiro to get involved to this bomb case, and that he would leave his house after learning about the relationship of Shiro and the culprit because he didnt know what to do anymore.
When he was young, he couldn't accept the fact that his parents died... "He couldnt cry at that time" "He wanted to kill the culprit" "He was even afraid of himself (for doing and thinking that way)" "He couldn't tell anyone" (He might feel he was weird at that time.)
So, Ichiro doesnt know how to act around Shiro anymore because he hates and wants to kill the person who Shiro loves. Ichiro doesnt want Shiro to feel uneasy, so he thinks he would push Shiro away. But Shiro said he wont leave his side, but "he should be with Ichiro even closer (because he can be the one who can stop him from being a criminal).
It like Shiro conveys that "Dont be scared of yourself, I will be there for u" < (Shiro understands how Ichiro feels, how Ichiro scared of himself).
Ichiro now has someone he can open up to. Someone he trusts and can share his thought. Someone who will be there for him. Now... he feel like "he can cry".
I'm totally addicted to this drama. The acting has some flaws but overall "it is super cute". Japanese BL is the best so far for me. Personally, I dont need love scenes for BL, I love the sweet and warm feelings just like this. Just like "be you, I love you the way you are" "if you are happy, so am I".
