I won't respond to everything but I guess I'm kind of confused on your major points...like how you don't think…
"I won't respond to everything" like you said. Your comment didn’t change my perspective, rather, I still think my point. It’s not a thing towards you, but how I felt the series week by week, and finally I can say that I didn’t like it like y’all did. Still reading your paragraph, I think that a lot of things are recreations of an unspoken script in order to fill the gaps this show has. Over justifying it just because you like this show it’s cute, I think you care about it. But I disagree. To me it’s not a 10 star drama, and I still think the acting is not “as good as” it have been perceived
One thing I can agree with you on is Mond. He’s a great actor but by the end of the series I was left wondering…
I was soooo impressed by Mond! I'm not navigate in these thai series, and it was the first time I saw his acting, but he is indeed a great actor, better than others'. I'm so upset that the 3rd character in the list got such a small part in the story... I wish he'll cast for something better next time! xo
Hope I won't get bullied for what I'm saying, but I think this is not as good as people in the comment section (here, reddit and even on youtube) are claiming. I get that the budget wasn't much, but... in my opinion they could sacrifice the whole black/gram/eugene issue in order to get a proper storyline.
So... the series plot was: Black is in coma, his twin White need to discover who beat the hell out of him, so White joins Black's gang in his place to investigate. Well, this gang has a thing over this "villain" aka Tawi, that literally did nothing during the story. You could say that Tawi is responsable of the drug traffic, but it hasn't been shown, not either a true "violent" scene, literally ALL the cliffhanger scenes were when Black and Sean got caught in gas and it was a test, and White's kidnapping that was a test too...
... and the fact that the whole "let's find out who is behing my brother" thing had been laid aside with # SPOILER an eye for an eye/blood for blood/tit for tat with Todd, inducing his in a come just how he did with Black... terrible script #
I remember when I first looked after this show already three episodes were out, and under a Yt comment section I just pointed out how this show was a little bit "slow", and someone replied "please, keep waiting, it's worth" but I'm not sure of it.
My personal taste is nothing, you obviously can think it's a masterpiece, even tho I genuinely think people are more attached to OffGun rather than the show itself, my plause goes to Gun who is the real mvp with his acting, the others' way of act is a bit off, and i need to know those in charge of the casting because they need a shadowban on how they waste such a good actor as Mond for... a mediocre script.
Sorry if y'all think that this show needs a 10 score, but doing myself a reality check, it has a lot of flaws and weakness that cannot be justified with "the lack of budget": a pen and good ideas are free
Honorable mentions: a) Black/White's parents, useless during the second half of the story b) the poor female cast, used only for the gender token c) Gunpa's role that had been so irrelevant if not for the whole "dad" situation and for being the deus ex machina in order to make SeanWhite real ("now you live in the same room because we don't know how to create a better expedient in order to let y'all be in the same room) d) Tawi, the villain that chilled during the whole series
Also what if Sean hugged first then argued cuz he said he will never want to see white again so it kind of make…
maybe the “i will never want to see again” is not in that scene! it could’ve been a voice over for another part of the episode. i just wish sean and white will make up 🥺
the button "spoiler" is meant for the comments related to some scenes ALREADY happened during the released episodes so far for the audience that started their watching from the beginning.
SPOILING something that will happen in future episodes, like certains dynamics or rather the d3at4 of some major character is *not* cool. that completely ruined my experience on mydramalist.
White left his dad because his dad didn’t care about him he only cared about his image he didn’t care about…
this is not a spoiler, it's an assumption you are making. and even if white's father doesn't care about him while he cares about his "image", why not looking after him since he disappeared?
just sorting out something I don't see very much in the past discussions... but, black&white's dad??? he just like disappeared since white didn't accept the job. also: white indeed passed the job interview BUT the father was angry at his answer to the question. i simply think that black&white's father has some sort of involving into this crappy political system; they gave him a role that's too important to be "just because", and, again, white literally disappeared from home and his father did nothing???? uhm, kind of sus (or maybe I'm overthinking eheh)
I have a doubt that hopefully I can use for conversation!! In the very first episode, when White and Todd go into Black’s apartment, White finds two puppets/plushies/objects that are very specific: one has a B on it (B=Black) and the other a G (G=Gram). But why nobody talked about any theory over a BlackxGram relationship?? Gram seems to have feelings over Black’s gf it doesn’t matter it may be an interesting point to think about. Maybe a triangle or an unrequited attraction?
hi!!! first time commenting and i have a toooooon of theories, but here’s one i like the most (NOT confermed, just a theory):
PLEASE look at the clothes they are wearing at the very first scene of ep 11 (1/4): pat the shirt with the sky, palms and sea, and pran the pink shirt over the horizontal stiped tee... these two are having a really strong conversation and they hold hands and pran has teary eyes while pat is crying after taking pran’s head over his shoulder...
but, if you look closely at the end of episode 11 (4/4), when they agreed on breaking up and they are in front of their houses, they are wearing the same outfit above ^^^^^^
my guess is that the couch ride is not the scene when they are going to the beach, but when they are returning home (hint: it’s night just like when they are in front of their gates) and the episode leads us to think they did indeed tear apart.
but!!!! they have a conversation at the beach, when pat thanks pran for sticking together and he said that “he never leave him”...
i think they didn’t break up, but they want to let everyone think so because they are young, they haven’t their parents support and they cannot afford to be selfish right now... if not after they finish their studies and are financially stable
so... my theory is that they are playing along the part of splitting, but in reality they are still together :)
sorry if it sounds stupid to you, but i like to imagine things~
