i have not seen episode 6 and i don't think i'll watch it unless something changes. i might wait until the drama has finished airing to go back and watch with full context, but for now it's on hold. Yes, i do think Ra Ra herself would be pissed when she finds out given her own actions and sense of morality, but at the end of the day the writers of this drama call the shots.

i know and agree, what i mean is that if she never knew or if she did and they still formed a romantic relationship then it would be an issue. i'm worried that's the direction the writers are taking with this.
in hindsight the plot twist now makes sense. there were so many clues and hints, but it's still...really uncomfortable...like…
I'm genuinely not trying to be mean or trying to tell people to stop watching I was just posting my thoughts to discuss. But I just wish people would stop trying to bend-over backwards trying to justify as to why this is okay. Granted, it could probably be fixed with a time skip, but right now in the current setting (if it continues this way), then it's not a good thing. It'd be an adult with a high school student (Regardless of maturity and age of consent). Just because it's fictional doesn't mean it's okay and we should keep normalizing it in media.
It's not about the age gap either (it would be fine if he was older) it's the fact that he's still in high school. And I 100% agree that it's not Ra Ra's fault because she doesn't know (she doesn't view him in a romantic light at all either at the moment). I'm mainly frustrated with the writers because I don't know why they took it in this direction. Also, that's a case of grooming which is immoral, yes.
Please don't take it the wrong way . But have you watched the show ? You don't have it on your watchlist and you…
it's on my on hold list now. i've been watching since it started airing. and i did watch episode five so i do have the current context that's been given in the show.
power imbalance where though? I think the show has shown thus far that Lala is not in a position of power over…
Yeah, I don't know what to say anymore except the fact that he seems to still be in high school and his age, even if it is one year off that's still one year off. The age gap would be fine if he were older.
Agree to disagree, but this is just what is seen and they're not entirely on equal ground and that is what's bothering a lot of people, especially right now. Maturity has nothing to do with it.

I literally googled it. It's literally 20. It's on ageofconsent.net. I know what you're referring to, but LEGALLY, you are an adult at the age of 20 there and that is a fact. So regardless, my point still stands. And regardless of laws, no adult should be having romantic relations with a child in general.

Age of consent is not 16 there it's 20. Morally, yes her age does matter because (i said this to the other person who replied) scientifically speaking, your brain at 18/19 is at a different developmental stage than at age 24. And she's not been developmentally stunted by her upbringing she was just spoiled and pampered, she's not dumb or stupid in any sense. Gullible, because of that, but she knows right from wrong.

It's exactly because she's older than Jun. She's not knowingly at fault because she doesn't know his age though (Also, you could argue the fact she doesn't show any romantic interest in him). I could be completely wrong by the end of the next episode and I'll be willing to accept that, but from what information we have, he's still in high school. Meaning he's 18/19, so in SK he's still a minor. That's the power/developmental imbalance.
Ra Ra is an adult and Jun is still legally a minor (from what has been shown). Scientifically speaking, at 18/19 compared to age 24, your brain is still at a different stage of development.
in hindsight the plot twist now makes sense. there were so many clues and hints, but it's still...really uncomfortable...like how can you justify the power/developmental imbalance here. you can't. not unless there's like a time skip right in the next ep and still even then...they could've taken it in literally any other direction. this ain't it...
Yes! I agree. I get pissed at him too.But I have to remind myself that he had no idea. He only just recently got…
this is why he's the bad man in this story. episode 2 was titled "the good, the bad, and the cheap" and we know who the good and cheap ones are based on context already given. i always thought of him that way ever since.
The worst of all is that I actually understand how she feels. And since Dong Baek has a son, she probably understands…
the realistic thing about that whole scene is they're both true to their feelings, both are acting on emotion which is how it is in real life. as viewers we tend to apply logic to things we are watching without realizing this is how we would act in situations too. it's just how humans are.
my take was that Hyang Mi washes her hair in the sink maybe? lmao but it could just be that it hasn't been cleaned…
Understandable sfjhghf
btw do u have an idea as to who the joker could be?? like tbh I really have no clue. what if it's just some random dude who none of the characters have any direct relation to. time will tell though.

But, anyway, good night.
