The real issue with the term bl is that its obviously a term made by 'Fudanshi' bc i really don't see why they would really come up with this term. Bc its simply not moldable to fit shows like this and shows that aren't necessarily 'boys love' but its the only term that fits bc its the term that's gotten so popular. Which is why shows, novels and manhwas etc still have a bl tag even if it really toxic and abusive. Right now bl doesn't mean boy love anymore and it should simply turn into a stand alone term. BL means BL. BL means 'gay themed show'.

Fujoshis is such a cringe word. I think people messed up by calling the term bl (boys love) bc clearly shows like Only friends isnt boys love LOL. But yet its still the catergorized term. Thats why there is a 'bl formula'
