It is a serious subject that should be taken seriously, isn't it? A cavalier commenting approach to most mdl articles is fine, but drunk driving, the ramifications and prevention strategies are another matter entirely.

I understand what you are saying: have a "test" to prevent the driver from starting the car. It would not be technologically feasible to add this feature to all new cars (what if my pupils are naturally larger or the camera isn't functioning and I am late for work, etc.) and it would add to the cost of purchase and maintenance of the vehicle. 99.9999% of the responsible driving population would be penalized for that .0001% who gets behind the wheel drunk. There are many traffic fatalities from fatigued drivers who fall asleep at the wheel or are on drugs of another kind. Any death or injury from a drunk driver is tragic and unnecessary, but I don't believe this is the way.
I cant help but wonder why this series is rated less than 10. Simply exquisite! The idea for this show was a brilliant…
The only reason I gave it a 9.5 was the scripted manipulation that hurt Takuto. (When she could not confess her feelings) I would rather they had another "challenge" as a team than having her lie to him.
But why would that be wrong, if they both agree to it. Why is his ideal type questionable.
So it was from an interview when he was 25 years of age and he gave an unfiltered, honest answer.
"I grew up in a family like that so I also think my kids should be raised by their mother. I heard one's childhood forever shapes the person's perspective on life. It seems unloved childhood leads to problematic adult life."
It sounds as though he grew up with a stay-at-home Mom and had a happy childhood and wants his children to have one, too. On a working Mother :
"Either he won't have good social skills, or he could end up being a felon to be extreme. I will be their good fatherly figure, but the children need their mom. It could be wrong but to me, this is an answer now."
I don't see the issue here; he even admitted that his opinion may change. Some commenters are assigning derogatory and inflammatory quotes to him that he never made.

This built in car breathylizer, easily by-passed, would only work for people who are ethical and responsible and wouldn't be getting behind the wheel inebriated anyway.
Not a mistake; a bad choice. She is very fortunate she didn't harm others or herself with this incident. Take a taxi or Uber when you've had too much to drink. That being said, I don't believe in canceling her career over this. I hope it is a life-changing event that propels her to seek help and not make the same choice again when the outcome could be tragic. Drunk driving is wrong and so patently unnecessary.
Bruh people on this website sometimes have dogshit takes, just because YOU don't like it doesn't mean it's badly…
I hear what you are saying; I am OK with a different take if there is a concrete explanation for it. Just a general, "Way overrated!" or "It sucks." I can do without. (This was a 10/10 for me)
Yesss. Very happy ending. It cuts off at a good point where you can tell the characters will lead better lives.
It is a bit of an open ending; the two male leads are not moving forward in life in the same space, but you believe they will maintain some contact and have resolved all previous issues between them.
This was a difficult watch; how a woman in her thirties won't stand up to her mother for the man she loves was ridiculous. I don't care for the "parents can do no wrong and they are doing it in your best interest" trope while ruining their child's happiness and this had it in spades.
Given that it was created in 2009 I give this drama some latitude. (Particularly the breathy delivery by Park ShinHye, who I quite like) I found this one extremely entertaining and less predictable than I thought it would be; will revisit it from time to time when I need a palate cleanser from a heavy drama.
I believe this was recorded long ago and then shelved, not a 2021 production; many of the same cast members from the kdrama "High Society" which dropped in 2015 (and is a very good drama). Really like Sung Joon but the majority of characters are so unlikeable, I am leaning towards dropping....will give it a couple of more episodes.
