While it was nice that episode 10 gave us more about Min's backstory/unresolved trauma, overall, both this and episode 9 felt a bit like filler episodes (because of the exploration of Min's backstory, this episode felt stronger than episode 9 in my opinion). Until I saw the preview for the next episode, I was a bit curious as to whether or not the storyline with the female mob boss would pick back up. The plot and pacing of this series is a welcomed change from the standard GMMTV series. I'm excited for episode 11.
PROTECT THE GRANDMOTHER AT ALL COSTS!!!!! If the Boss does something else to her, I'm going to be pissed. She was definitely the MVP of episode 8 acting as a mediator with Joker and his father (who btw is kind of a d*ck) as well as Jack and Joker while dealing with her own medical ailments. I'm excited to see how Jack and/or Joker go about taking down the "Boss;" which I find a bit ironic since it seems as though of the Four Horseman, he's the low man on the totem pole to the point where his "peers" don't seem to respect him. Lastly, although he only had a small role in this episode, Save STILL needs his a** beat.

One thing that I like about this series compared to the average GMMTV series is the fact that the product placement isn't nearly as "in your face." It's there, but it's not forced in practically EVERY scene like the average GMMTV series. Anyways, this was another good episode. It's easy to tell that Ohm is a far more seasoned actor than Leng (not saying Leng is bad perse, but he could be better at conveying certain emotions), and his (Ohm's) level of acting is somewhat concealing Leng's shortcomings. During their scene on the road before the NC scene, I was too focused on the level of emotion that Ohm was conveying that I didn't really pay attention to the lack of emotion from Leng. I'm just curious as to where the story will go now that they're officially together. The pacing of the series is nice; and I want to see how the series progresses within the next four episodes.
This needs to be said (and I don't care what people think); Save needs his a** BEAT!!!!! The fact that he's willing to ruin the life of someone he called a "friend" just for a piece of d*ck is crazy work (I can't wait for him to get exposed). While I think that this has been a solid series so far, the one thing that annoys me about Jack is the fact that he's still insanely naive and trusting of people that he shouldn't be (looking at you Save) even after five years. I feel as though he should be a bit more jaded and apprehensive about trusting just anyone after Joker initially lied to him about the "loan" and gave him false hope. I hope Jack realizes that the Boss poisoned his grandmother just to manipulate him into going back to work. Fingers crossed that Jack and Joker will reconcile in the later episodes and actually be happy.

I'm genuinely surprised they gave us the "breakup scene" this early in the series (because it's typically saved for either episode 10 or 11 with the exception of Wandee Goodday). Leng's acting seems to get better with each episode. I'm interested in seeing how the story progresses now that the informant has been exposed. There hasn't been a "bad" episode yet; so hopefully that continues throughout the series.

Well it wouldn't be a GMMTV series without a musical number of some sort; but this one wasn't nearly as cringe as it typically is when it comes to GMMTV. There hasn't been a bad" episode yet (hopefully that continues to be the case as the series progresses). Ohm and Leng's chemistry is surprisingly good considering the fact that this is Leng's first series as a lead. As much as Min wants to protect Q, I like that we're getting to see signs of Q wanting to protect Min as well. As I've stated before, I hope this series encourages GMMTV to produce more BLs outside of a high school/university setting and venture into more mature plots that are a little less campy than the standard GMMTV series.

The pacing so far coupled with the chemistry of Ohm and Leng is EVERYTHING! Hopefully GMMTV continues to produce more BLs outside of a high school/university setting. I can't wait for their first kiss.

So far so good. The pacing is solid as of right now; so as long as GMMTV doesn't do the things that GMMTV is known for doing with a lot of their series, this could actually be one their best BLs outside of a school setting since "Moonlight Chicken." Although the fact that Min fell for Q before the "kidnapping" may have played a part in why he didn't k*ll him, Min doesn't strike me as the type of person that would k*ll someone for money no matter who the hostage is. Hopefully as the series progresses, the writing stays consistent.

They are not dragging. If you do not like it exist. We do not need you.
Just like your comment wasn't needed below mine. In my opinion (which I'm entitled to), the series is a bit disjointed.
On Addicted Heroin Sep 26, 2024
Um... How are they possibly going to drag this out for three more episodes? I'm honestly tempted to drop this series. I'm trying to give it a chance since the original series never had a proper conclusion, but this is a bit of a struggle.
On Addicted Heroin Sep 17, 2024
Am I the only one who feels like this series is a bit disjointed? I'm trying to give it a chance since the original series never got a proper conclusion, but it just feels like pieces of the storyline are missing.

If I'm being honest, I feel like this series is getting gassed up a bit because people think that the actors are relatively attractive. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't spectacular either. Bible and Jes didn't even feel like the main characters for about 70% of the series tbh. This felt more centered around Tonkla's revenge tour more than the story between Great and Tyme. Having JJay's character kill Fuaiz's character (AGAIN) in a series where they were kinda sorta-but not really a "couple" is definitely a choice though. 🥴

For a GMMTV series, this is actually starting off pretty good (no shade, but we ALL know that GMMTV series can be hit or miss, and insanely campy). The plot is refreshing.

Soooooo... This is basically a Thai version of "Inception." Like DFF, I wouldn't really consider this a "BL" series.
On My Love Mix-Up! Aug 24, 2024
If the main couple were anyone else other than Fourth and Gemini, I think this would've flopped. For their age, Fourth and Gemini are insanely talented actors; so they were able to carry the series pretty well. I wish they could get more roles/stories outside of the "high school" setting. Thier characters and storyline in "Moonlight Chicken" was so unique to the point that they outshined the main couple. Overall, this series (My Love Mix-Up!) was cute and campy, and I like some of the deviations they took in regard to the teacher in this adaptation (if you've watched the Japanese version, you know what I'm talking about); but Fourth and Gemini deserve to have their talents on display in a better, more mature series (by "mature," I simply mean real life situations/plots outside of a school setting).

I don't know how you see the meaning of the word manipulation, because at no point did Plawan manipulate him,…
If I'm not mistaken, Plawan threatened to tell Chef Oab that Kluer broke curfew if he didn't teach him how to cook; which could be considered a form of manipulation.
On This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans Aug 17, 2024
Although some of his actions are messy AF, am I the only one who thinks that Kluer's supervillain arc is low-key justified to a certain extent? Plawan manipulated him into teaching him how to cook in order to stay in the competition (which kinda felt like Plawan taking advantage of Kluer's feelings for him). Kluer was smitten with Plawan from day one, and he didn't even try to hide it. With just one episode left, I'm a bit worried that this series isn't going to be able to "tie it all together" so to speak. Perhaps if this series were 10 episodes as opposed to 8, it would help spread out the pacing of the series. Anyways, JJ is by FAR the best character in this series.
On Wandee Goodday Jul 20, 2024
The finale would've been perfect had they not decided to ship Taem with that narcissistic predator, Dr. Ter. If we're being honest, he's proven on more than one occasion that he's no better than the creep that assaulted her in the car. The series overall was a solid 9.5, but I feel like I have to deduct a few decimals for the way they disregarded how much of a red flag Dr. Ter truly is. Although I would've liked to have seen Kao's asexuality explored a bit deeper throughout the series, I'm glad to see them touch on it in the finale. Also, I kinda wish that the details of Yak's trauma in regard to the silhouette were spread out a bit more throughout the episodes as opposed to the sudden revelation in the final episode just to help that particular subplot flow a bit better. With the legitimate legalization of same-sex marriage in Thailand, the inclusion of Cher and Yei's wedding was a nice way to wrap up the series. Even with the handling of the Dr. Ter character, this was definitely one of GMMTV's better series (because we all know that GMMTV can be rather hit or miss).

Title My Stand-In
Okay who TF wrote this last episode? Because it really just seems to be thrown together just for the sake of calling it a finale. Are we just supposed to ignore the fact that Tong just got away with being a terrible human being that was in the midst of divorcing his pregnant wife? If I'm being completely honest, the best character in this series by FAR is the new Joe's mother. With the exception of her, Sol, and Wut, every other character in this series is either extremely stupid or extremely toxic. The overall writing of this episode didn't make one iota of sense.
