I really liked Joo Won this last episode
For a webdrama they're working around pretty well with the characters

This outrage is insane lol.I guess the expectations I set up for myself were just right because the drama is turning…

I recommend watching Just Between Lovers. The ML really reminds me of BIH, except he's in the lead role.
I watched the first episode. I could totally see what you said, thank you so much! It seems to be such a heartbreaking drama, I really liked the start. I'll definitely keep watching.

Review Tokyo Ghoul
I didn't knew there was a movie of Tokyo Ghoul until I saw subbed in one site rn. I came straight to look for reviews cause Shingeki no Kyojin's movie was just SO horrible (I love both manga n anime of Shingeki and TG) I didn't wanted to commit the same mistake again, but seeing you share the same opinion as I, I believe I'll enjoy TG's movie.
Thank you so much for your review, I'm gonna watch it <3

I guess I'll wait for it to end and come back here to see if it's worth continuing... I liked the beginning, but I don't know if that's enough... I've seen ppl complaining a lot, so I'll wait.

Throughout the manga I was absolutely in love with Shishio's character, so much so that the ending absolutely…
prettytin: The manga is wonderful but painful for those who like Shishio, but as I said up there, it has a special place in my heart. But I agree with you they did focus on Mamura (what isn't the case with the manga) since they'd end up together, but I guess the lack of time also helped Mamura to end up appearing more...

jak: He did all he did because her uncle didn't allow him to be with her (and since they were friends, he couldn't simply ignore his opinion), not because he didn't loved her. In the end he just finally told her the truth cause he knew he would regret not telling her.

Ellie: I couldn't agree more with you... I guess I did pretty much the same while watching the movie and I was also very sad that Shishio's character didn't have enough screen time, but I actually wouldn't know how to fix that because of the primary problem with movies: the lack of time.
But overall, I was pretty satisfied, I was afraid they'd ruin the whole thing n I would end up regretting to watch it. I'm glad that didn't happened.

Title Daytime Shooting Star Spoiler
When I first heard about the news of Hirunaka turning into a movie I was excited but afraid as well. I guess I can say Hirunaka no Ryuusei is the most heartbreaking manga I've ever read. I know this might sound weird, since it's not that dramatic nor anything, but I symphatize with Shishio so much, that my heart breaks for him everytime I see him (it's been over three years I've finished the manga n whenever I see some fanart or pic of him my heart aches). That being said, I was afraid Miura Shohei wouldn't be able to portrait Shishio that well, so, ever since the news of the movie came out, I wasn't expecting much of him.
But gosh, I was so wrong. For me he portrayed Shishio's character so damn well that it make me cry my eyes out as when I read the manga for the first time. I'm actually feeling really depressed while writing this, picturing in my mind (exactly like I do everytime I think about the manga's ending) how I wish it wasn't that way.
I hear people saying that the end of Hirunaka is the proper one. But I disagree. You can say I'm overly romanticizing it (or you can say the manga itself is already over romantic in the sense of being a surreal situation), but I'm not gonna argue with that right now.
I'm just going to say that I have my own reasons to believe in the deepness of Shishio's feeling's for Suzume, as well as I don't bite the fact that she simply end up changing her mind in the end.
I would be a LOT more satisfied if she simply didn't end it with neither of them. Don't get me wrong, I didn't actually liked Mamura back when I read the manga, but I think he was also portrayed really well by Shirahama Aran, and I felt like I could finally empathize with him too.
I guess you can see by now that my "problem" (actually it's something a little less than a problem, but I can't think of a better work right now, it's 5am here) is Suzume. I won't get in the merit of "the feeling weren't well developed because of the lack of time" thing, cause well, this is what happens with simply ALL live-action based on manga, let's face it.
I love Suzume, and I understand that people's heart do change, and almost never we can explain that. But just as I understand that, I also understand that mangakas love to make their main characters "love above anything and anyone" (yeah, Aoharaido, Sailor Moon, Heroine Shikkaku, etc, I'm looking at you - don't get me wrong, I love those mangas, but we know that they can seem a little too forced on the "the main charaters NEED to be together" thing). And that's my problem, the thing is, Mika simply didn't let Shishio and Suzume be together because of the "student-teacher" taboo. She had millions of ways of work around that, yet she chose not too... And that's the thing I don't accept. Suzume liked him, and she had enough reasons to, but she didn't have enough reasons to stop liking him! On the contrary of the mangas I mentioned above, Hirunaka forced the main characters to don't be together in the end for fear of criticism, I presume, what for me doesn't make much sense, cause I guess pretty much everyone who read this manga where ok with it, since the plot was about that since its beginning, it not like it was a surprise or anything.
Well, I guess that's it, I just needed to let it out.
Probably nobody will read this until the end (and well, I can't blame you), but I at least took it out of my chest.
PS: Never enough to say: that's MY opinion, don't crucify me for it.
That's it, I enjoyed the movie, I cried, I fell in love with Shishio once again. Hope you guys enjoy it too ♡

Ahh mixed feeelings really. I forgot the manga and then remembered the whole mess. The movie is well made in terms…
I don't know if I should watch it raw or wait for the subs...
Hirunaka is one of my most dear mangas of all time (as weel as one that heartbreaked me with the ending)
I can understand japanese pretty well, but I'm afraid I won't be able to focus so much on the movie since I need to pay more attention

someone knows where I can download this or watch it online with portuguese subtitles, I wanted to watch it with my mom but I can't find it... I don't use viki or dramafever, but apparently viki didn't subbed in portuguese and dramafever is only available for premiun users...

I love SooYoung, n I understand why her character is like this, but I sincerely hope she'll change, cause the way she is rn is unbereable to watch! I can't watch more than 1 episode per day, cause I end the episode wanting to punch someone cause the characters are all ridiculous, her father, her brother, her compliant mother... Srsly, if you tell me that until episode 10 nothing of that has changed, I'll drop it. I'm at episode 4 willing to drop it, but I must say I'm interested in the Lee Il Hwa's part (except for that annoying old woman that seems to have come from a +10 year ago drama). I don't know what to say, I think this could be good, but so far, it is not good at all. Someone give me a light, please.
