Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan had average chemistry, unlike Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan who are outstanding. The Untamed are popular because of the novel plot are so good, not because of the shitty actors like Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo

What made Xiao Zhan being hated is not because of the CP but because of his crazy delusional fanbase , Xiao Zhan got his deserved blackslash because of his crazy fan, who overreacted seeing a fanfiction where him in a submissive position for Wang Yibo. You guys got AO3 banned in China by reporting it to the government, and not to mention you crazy Xiao Zhan stan attacking Gong Jun saying that he is copying Xiao Zhan, when Xiao Zhan is just an ordinary actor with delusional fanbase. And I don’t ship Xiao Zhan or Wang Yibo whatsoever, they had average chemistry, compared to Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan. Now I am waiting for immortality and actually see some strong chemistry in BTS of Yunxi and Feiyu. Though I hope Feiyu doesn't get a crazy fanbase like Xiao Zhan or he would ended up like him
