Shohei was so annoying when he tried to approach her again like the last year didn't happen. No explanation or apology just again with the pet name and invading her space. it was so annoying.
idk if I watched the same drama as the people in the comments section but yall had me thinking this guy stalked this girl and controlled the shit out of her and it was no such thing. He made his intentions clear from the get-go and she eventually was the one who sought him out not to mention he repeatedly gave her her space to read her books in peace and left her alone if he felt he was doing too much which he never was. Yall are so overdramatic.
This show really had the potential to be great but OH MY DAYS they really dragged the romance between Datu and XiaoJu...I just felt relief finishing this because after like the 20th episode I was done with the nonsense. The writers deserve jail.
I wished they would have spent more time developing Kira's trauma storyline. It seemed liked it came from nowhere. With the Taiwanese one they started showing small clues of the Trauma Kira faced until it was obvious. With this one, it sort of just...happened.
I like this version but the Taiwanese version will always be my favourite. The Taiwanese version was more in dept and focused on both Rei & Kira equally while this one was largely about Kira. It was still good though.
lol why do i feel like everybody involved in this project should be arrested....nevertheless like everyone said it was so creepy especially the first few episodes but then it mellowed out and got as normal as a drama about "a teacher bullying his student so he can protect her" can get
Some people thought Kyoko's character was cringe and needed to be more outspoken and have some monumental character development but to me, she was perfect...because realistically her actions was that of an abused victim... down to her wanting to be with him even after everything he did to her...the fact that she kept trying to change was a big deal. People need to remember that she was emotionally abused for years by her family even before she met him so that coupled with his abuse...she's not going to suddenly just be okay.
The two of them falling in love made absolutely no sense and it honestly seemed like it came out of nowhere.... i genuinely believe that Ma Ri would have become attached to anyone who showed her consistent and unwavering kindness...and the doctor had no reason to love her other than she has his dead wife's face coupled with the fact that he felt protective of her given her situation....maybe I would have been more inclined to believe they were in love if the chemistry was there between the two leads idk....
This entire drama was just chaotic psychotic what the hell is happening energy and I was here for every second of it....my favorite episode has got to be 'apologies' though...like Nanno dancing in the school yard lol I loved it!
I have never hated a character as much as I hated Yuri...the actress did a fantastic job! but I cannot wait for season 3 for Nanno to come back and be in her boss bitch era because Yuri has to go...like yesterday!
