i watched five episodes and kept asking myself, "what made this series get an 8.9 rating?" and i still haven't found the answer to my question. i'm a fan of the pondphuwin, and if you look at my list, i've watched all three of their series and gave them really high ratings. i genuinely enjoyed them and loved them. but in my opinion, this series of them doesn't deserve this rating, and it's way too high for it. there are way too many cringe scenes. like, pond's character is basically built around being cringe, but even though it's cringey, it actually makes you laugh. i mean, there are some dialogues and scenes where you think, "why is this even in the script? it's so poorly done" but you still end up laughing a lot because of it. however, what i really like about it is that his acting has actually improved. i don't get that feeling like in their previous series where i'd think, "oh god, that was so bad, why can't he act normally?" because that feeling is completely gone now. i really wish they'd focus more on the other characters. sure, this is pondphuwin's series, but the third person whose name comes up (i mean est) literally has no role other than being like a prop. i wish william had more screen time. in episode five, he basically had none. these things really frustrate me. for almost half an hour straight, it was just pondphuwin, and we saw even the tiniest details of their scenes, but the side couples get almost no attention, even though their stories could really be beautiful. they weren’t even properly developed as characters. like, i still don't really understand the foundation of tawan and his relationship with aran in this series at all. they talk so much about being enemies of arseni, about how they can't make their love public, and how they don't even have a safe space within their families. why their parents got married but they can't even have lovers. maybe by the end of episode five, i still haven't gotten answers to these questions, but i hope they give us logical answers for all of this. though honestly, nothing in this series has been logical so far. overall, i don't think it's as good as it should be, and the rating is too high. it has a lot of flaws. the direction isn't great, and the character development is only well-written for the two main leads. everyone else is practically just background. every time i try to say the series has beautiful scenes, it goes right back to being cringey. anyway, my rating for it so far is a 6, and i'll see how it goes from here. honestly, i think even a 6 might be too generous.
i've watched three episodes so far, and i'm sure seakeen and the crew had a great time shooting it. i'm literally dying of laughter – it's so funny. i'm so glad i randomly decided to watch "Only Boo" last year and discovered this gem, seakeen. i hope GMMTV never does them dirty.
i really enjoyed him in the series "feud". he's a really great actor, and now i'm watching him in "perfect match" and i'm really enjoying it. i haven't seen "the double" yet. i hope to see him in leading roles soon because he has both the looks and the talent.
wow, he's on a whole other level! i'm seriously amazed. i usually don't have any prior expectations from idol-actors, but this guy raised my expectations sky-high with just 20 minutes in "perfect match". because i think Winwin is a calm/quiet guy, right? and i feel this character is completely different from his real personality. in that case, it's really difficult to pull it off, and he did it excellently.
this is the third series i'm watching that she's a homewrecker in it. i'm thinking to myself, "is it even possible for someone to take on so many homewrecker roles?"
he doesn't cheat on his ex-gf, it was just gaslighting and he made an apologize. this is their personal matter, and we don't even know the full details, so it's none of our business.
From another comment section... "• BL dramas will no longer be allowed to air on international versions…
i don’t understand why china should do the opposite. a series that has generated significant revenue and boosted its popularity—logically, they should air other bromances and BL content they’ve produced, since revenue is what ultimately matters. this move only harms their own interests. i hope that if this is true, c-netz will react to it.
I googled Ding Yuxi actor and waah you are right, they do look alike, kid is gorgeous. Would you mind recommending…
yes, he became famous with the series "The Romance of Tiger and Rose" played with Zhao Lusi. also, he has two series with actress Esther Yu, one historical named "Love Game in Eastern Fantasy" and the other modern named "Moonlight". you can watch the historical first and consider the modern as a continuation of their lives. they are both really beautiful. also, the series "Love You Seven Times" has a very interesting story, in my opinion, the use of his facial expressions and everything in this series is the best of all and it really makes you fall in love with him and shows his abilities well, the story and cinematography of this series are very interesting and you will not get bored at all. also, "Escape to Your Heart" and "Southern Anecdote" are the most anticipated series from him.
both original stories share the same author, and based on the trailer featuring changheng (played by ZLH) in a cameo, fans speculate that these two stories might be set in the same universe.
oh, chi cheng! i get lost in those deep, mesmerizing eyes. it's like an entire galaxy of emotions lives inside them. they don’t just look at you—they "speak". every glance is a whispered secret, every gaze a story untold. how can something so silent scream so loudly in his soul?
