The writer got lazy and just wrote the villains off the show with a couple of mentions in the last episode. There was no satisfaction at all for the audience that watch them plot and make our lead couples suffer throughout the series. I know the audiences wanted Zeng Di to suffer a terrible fate at the end but no such scene appeared, what a huge disappointment. I hate it when the writers create this horrible villain for a series that cause conflict for our hero and heroine and then they don’t deliver a great ending for them but only a little mention in a conversation that they went to jail or died.

Reading the comments, is there really 2 additional episodes? 41 & 42 and is it free or do members have to pay extra just to see it like some Korean dramas? Which streaming sites are there 2 additional episodes, I just looked at mango, Viki and Tencent, they only reference 40 episodes?

I don’t mind it if it’s good, we got 16 episodes out of We Are and it was just ok, it was way too long for this series. Lots of annoying childish characters I could do without.
