I love Gorya's family! Jandi's family was fully out there to sell their daughter. Idk why they potrayed poor people like that with no pride and just plain unbearable. Instead of criticizing classism, they fed into it. Smh

I love how realistic and rational these characters are. Jandi was a one-dimensional, really cringy character who embarrassed herself at every point. Her facial expressions drove people nuts. But Gorya has depth and normal human emotions. She analyses her surrounding. It's such a good change

I'm a teen girl who is a kid. You're an adult man with kids. We are totally different from each other. I'm allowed to state my opinion on this drama from MY perspective and so are you. They aren't neccessarily going to align because AGAIN we are different people at different stages in our lives.

Nai was way too perfect and unflawed while Bei Wei Wei was good but never better than Nai. Ever. He's just always better. And I didn't like it. Which I'm ALLOWED to do. No need to lose sleep over it.

Unpopular opinion: I think the only reason Jinyeon went for Sehoon is to not look like a bitch on TV. I love the girl and I feel like she never liked Sehoon but if she kept on rejecting him after all his unwelcomed efforts, knowing the type of society she lives in, she would get a lot of hate. Besides Jintaek was taken by Soyeon. Her next choice was Sehoon. Looking at all the hate she got on social media for "playing" with men's feelings and the commentators' praising Sehoon for his consistent effort, I feel like it's pretty close to the truth. No hate to her. She was a sweet girl.

Also Junsik and Yaewon feel like the couple that just settles and defo broke up. Ain't no way.

Also, I really love the subtle changes. I love that Thyme doesn't get jealous of the forehead kiss, instead, he's mad that Ren is leaving.
I love that it's not overly comical like the Korean version.
I love that Gorya doesn't act dumb or penniless like in the Korean version. She doesn't get over the top humiliated. God, I hated Geum Jandi so much. She put the P in pathetic for me cus of her character.
I love the stronger interaction between F4. It's as strong as the Japanese version and that's saying something.
I love that the sister doesn't just kick Thyme's ass. She's more thoughtful and deep. Honestly, all the characters are. The little bits of conflict in Gorya's face and Thyme's confusion are what I live for.
It's going good so far.
OH AND I LOVE CINDY BISHOP SO FAR. She's a true girlboss.
