might have fully released on an app, region release stuff or just that this is the first release with subtitles, can only watch up to episode 22 at the moment
also rarely the release dates are wrong, from sudden events like in korea with the government or just other schedule stuff and then at times they don't get updated for less popular shows

so far only at episode 18 of ling yun, the last 10 episodes out of 30 come out the next five days or so
if you are wondering about Yanxi Palace, it is pretty satisfying and has a good ending, very long drama however, absolutely worth a watch one of the best period dramas from china

yeah they did that pretty well in those first two episodes, when I gave it a taste test, I was worried it would continue for the next 20 episodes like it did in some revenge dramas lately.
Glad it wasn't

I like this a lot, tho it is not great, it's well made, has a high production quality.
It's a pity that it's episodes are short.
For people who liked Yanxi Palace, this might be helpful to deal with the sweet tooth craving.
It copies and reimagines a lot from there.

can't remember exactly, at episode 27 right now and there have been like 4 kisses I think, but their romance becomes rather open halfway through the show, without your average tropes that draw this out awkwardly
and from there it keeps being an open, honest relationship without cliche tropes watering it down, ruining it or reversing it for x amount of episodes
they also openly show their affection in many scenes, but there aren't that many kiss scenes, lots of hugging, loving gazes, time spent together
I initially didn't watch it because I thought the first two episodes would set the tone for the rest, but it clears up after that and becomes a good, light hearted romance altogether

if you can get past the first two episodes of violence, it will turn in a rather light hearted period drama romance that is overall, pretty well made and has high production quality

but then came the episode with the mother of peony

I hate this 2nd season partly and only because of Liu Liang

the donghua was pretty good, reminded me a lot of the one where they switch bodies and fall in love after hating each other

This is just so good, really high production quality, also completely ridiculous and some of the best acting of the involved actors.
But only at episode 10 so far.

Nice drama, liked watching it, however you should consider dropping it some time after episode 30.
As others mentioned as well, it will drag on annoyingly from especially episode 34 to 38
beside those episodes, it is a kind of drama i especially like to watch.

It's a good show to watch.
The people's teeth in the show are blackened to imply daily betel nut chewing which was common in that epoch and geography, but it's pretty obvious that it is not real and in a few scenes you can see how easily they brush it off.
Normal discoloration from betel nut chewing makes your gums reddish, glossier and reddens and blackens the teeth.

the average daily makjang type with 102 episodes might only resolve at episode 93 to 95 and then have those last episodes wrap up the revenge, luckily there are others, no idea where this one will become different, it's best to watch these once they are finished, so you can just skip the parts that get too much

This is a lot better than I expected it to be, I thought it would be some comedy show a bit akin to the endless C-Dramas with similar story.
But it is a high quality period drama with all the little things necessary to make it a good story and romance.

She looked so happy with her burgers at one point in time.
All in all, her agency is at fault for pairing her with someone who would even go as far as physically abusing her.
Not withstanding all the emotional and psychological abuse that likely hit a lot deeper and was a lot more constant than the physical abuse.

This is so funny and awkward, I did not expect that I would watch it, but it's a really good show.

At least this time it's successful I think.
So I hope they won't pick saturdays and sundays for the aftermath of it.
Every week I am looking forward to this show so much it is almost a feeling of loss when i wait and wait and wait just to realize it is delayed again.
