I think most of the things he says in the interview room are lies and he seems to want to appear a certain way like he is sad and wants to reunite with his ex but literally does nothing in actions.

Yeah i think she lost the love for him because of his harsh words and change of behaviour and went to cafe in a public place to breakup but he apologised and she felt unjustified to breakup with him face to face so she called later and used it as an excuse rather than just telling him that she doesn't love him anymore.

Idk who is more cruel jiyeon or baekhyun but after seeing the preview I am leaning towards jiyeon like how many times did she say that she doesn't want to go back and don't mind her ex

I didn't watch s3 after first few ep but it's a pattern where the length of episodes increase as time goes on. BY end each episode will probably be more than 2hr 30 mins while there might be 1 or 2 3hr episodes
