could've been more than this
Honestly.. im not that kinda ppl whos into thriller, mystery, and such. i prefer romance dramas w/ fluffy scenes,clingy boyfie etc.. but sometimes i wanna make myself suffer from sadness! therefore i gave it a try :Dimho, it wasn't bad after all as i could feel their emotions..yet somehow i'd rather the teenage part than the adult part. teenage main leads genuinely dive into their own character, let alone the crime that took place 12 years ago was more hurtful as well as shiver me up. this drama has fewer romantic moments indeed, i could understand it. as for the massacre scenes in the present, it should've been way more sadistic for me lol

Fresh but not worth rewatching
first of all, i'd like to appreciate both FL and ML who succeeded making me laugh, mad, and even grumble at their acting. tbh, I love FL's role, she's quite bold, stubborn, and won't beg for man's love like the 2nd FL did. I mean that 2nd FL (his ex) truly is annoying. She left him with no words to go abroad when he loves her so much. and when the ML had fallen for FL, she wanted to get him back. sticking around him everywhere and everytime. MOREOVER, HE INITIALLY GOT ANNOYED BY HER BUT HE LET HER TOUCH HIM EVENTUALLY. idk whether it's his strategy to make FL jealous or else, he seems like a plin plan person and have no courage to confess his love towards her. That's why i prefer her with 2nd ML bcs they are sincere wholeheartedly. Tbh i'm looking forward to their kisses yet don't expect too muchWas this review helpful to you?

this is my fav colossal drama after the legend of yun xi. The story line keeps moving forward and full of chemistry among role players. most average colossal dramas have more than 40 eps and it makes me bored atm yet this drama only has 27 eps including whole packages such as romance, humour, jealousy, quarrels, sorrow. Besides, the FL isn't weak at all! i love it tbh. she's bold, beautiful, funny, good at fighting and most importantly, she's SMART. the ML really loves her even tho he made mess with her at the beginning, he's a loyal person after all. i highly suggest you all watch it!Was this review helpful to you?
quite monoton
i know it might be a bad comment among a bunch of good ones. well frankly, it's not bad but not good either. i initially hooked up onto this drama. in order to watch it, i used many apps such as youtube (yoyo english channel), viki, telegram. unfortunately yoyo and viki have made it restricted to my country hence i ended up watching it on facebook instead. i really curious about how the storyline would be, since both main leads did their roles very well in the beginning. however it turns out to be a plain plot story right after eps 16 and keeps going on like that. they have some misunderstandings yet they could overcome them all (it ain't bothering me) in the last few episodes, they just have less romantic scenes, not as i expected.Was this review helpful to you?

sweet enough but too draggy
i admit that this drama has an exceptional storyline (dentist x librarian) if it was compared to other common storylines that were used in many cdramas. frankly, i didn't wanna give it a shot in the first place, since i had no interest after reading its synopsys. somehow.. i was running out of romantic cdramas hence i tried it.as far.. i was quite enjoying main lead cp's love story. i found myself was into Ai laoshi (the dentist) bcs hes the one that makes this drama even sweeter. i just felt annoyed by FL's facial expression in some certain scenes. for ex : the scene in which she should've been angry yet she didn't seem angry.
for the rest 2 cp, ugh i skipped their scenes cuz they were too aggravating! i love zhai xiaowen indeed, however i barely endure myself seeing him w/ that woman (considering their age gap really looks aloof judging by their faces). moreover, his character over here was more likely a jester imo. let alone liu te w/ his pair, i had no comment as i skipped most of his scenes as well.
long story short, i watched it for main lead cp sake. xièxiè HAHA

Honestly... I read some reviews in comment section before decided watching it. Some of them said that it's pretty different from chinese version since it's more likely adapted from novel. Ok then i gave it a shot in order to prove their claim. Eps by eps went by... I found nothing special that led to hooked me up. Not to mention, main lead's chemistry was smth i couldn't tolerate at all. in other words, it's super so-so!! neither its storyline nor all characters in this drama could afford to be much better until the end.Hence... i dropped by eps 5 cuz i eventually slept while watching it. The most interesting part was the one and only LIN YI! though he acted as a cameo, he really brighten up everyone's day hahah. aside from him, it was just a plain drama. xiexie

don't waste your time on it
i actually had dropped it since the day i started watching it. when i read its synopsys, i was kinda interested back then. turned out it was one of the worst cdramas i've ever witnessed. let alone the FL, how come she couldn't realize her idol's voice?!! MOREOVER HIS VOICE DIDN'T CHANGE AT ALL either when he was being a voice actor or in daily life.i admit that it was a light cliché drama but it's just tooo plain. besides i hate her character in which she was crotchety, dumb, naive, acts innocent, etc. sighhh
