I loved this episode. The only things preventing me from giving it a 10 are: Jay not being top 9 (he should've been) and them not singing live - like, if I wanted to hear the studio version of the songs I would open up Spotify, not watch the entire 4 hours that this was.

I am so mad that Jay got such a low score - literally I'd have placed him in second or third place out of all the members. My boy didn't belt his ass off to be placed last. --- But alas, congrats to Zhang Hao, he deserves the win. I loved his and Han Bin's The Little Prince performance, it was so cute

I don't agree with everyone that they kept, but all the guys I'm rooting for stayed so I'm not complaining. The games were so funny, I didn't know I needed to see 6 feet tall men in wigs but now I have and I'm so happy lol

The editing kind of gives it away sometimes but idc because for some of them you can already tell who's going to win. Loved seeing the "bad" groups give their best performances, even if not all went how they wanted them to go.

Istg I am loving the performances so far - they're so high-energy and insanely complex and honestly if I were the judges I'd be having a mental breakdown

My man took fucking ten years to read all those names but anyway lol - It was ok. By the end I was kind of bored, I just wanted to know who the top 9 were and be done with it. I'm surprised by how equal the voted survivors were, not gonna lie - but I'm glad all my favorites got to stay.

I wish they'd drop the K vs. G thing because I'm feeling so sad for the guys in G. I'd also like to know what percentage of the voters were Korean (I'm sorry, but a 1 to 6 ratio is INSANE. The difference in votes for some of the trainees was just not fair). The performances were great though - I also loved the companionship the groups had

Maybe I'm just watching the wrong type of show, because I'm suffering so much watching all these poor guys get absolutely roasted by the judges (and the editors). I loved the performances at the beginning but the training sessions were so hard to get through for me

This was AMAZING. I knew it was a dance competition, but omg it was so much more intense than I was anticipating (my references are The Voice and Got Talent lmao, bear with me) - the choreos were incredible, and the LOOKS. The visuals?? Hello?? Now I have to find the Insta accounts of like 10 of these guys (I also loved that all of them were falling in love as well lmao). The editing is perfect, except for the constant replays (too many of them, in my opinion). But otherwise... this was so good. I'm speechless.

Don't get me wrong, there were a lot of themes that I really appreciated in this episode. The discussion surrounding homosexuality and homophobia, accepting oneself, not caring about what others think. That is needed, and I'm going to give it to them, they treated this matter with the respect it deserves. My problem with this ep is how neatly everything is tied up, the perfect ending for every character. It just doesn't fit with the tone that the series set up until episode 10-11. Everything was messy, the teachers were corrupt and abusive, the director even more so, and the students were becoming more and more radical. And one second later, the main 'villain' (teacher Chadok) has a breakdown and does a full 180, turning into this thoughtful, calm individual we'd never seen before. Somehow they manage to change the entire system within 10 minutes of runtime and now everyone is okay?? There was virtually no payoff for all the tension and drama that were built up!! ---- to end on a positive note, the chemistry between First and Khaotung is incredible. Their characters are in love, no doubt about that.

On the one hand, I don't really care about the school drama. It doesn't feel as big and worrying as they want me to think it is, and the teachers are just dumb, running blindly in circles, threatening students and not doing anything useful. They rely SO MUCH on Akk it's actually ridiculous, like do you expect the guy to just run the school at this point?? Since you're not doing shit to handle the protests?? ----- On the other hand, I am loving Thua and Khan's scenes. The scene where they got together was so cute I was dying just looking at them. The 'Then yes, I will be with you', 'What?', 'I'm not saying it again, I'm shy' was so adorable and oh my god the little peck ARE YOU KIDDING ME

Oh so NOW you're giving him a sponge bath?? After basically giving him the cold shoulder for like a week? He's having wholesome moments with Ayan's mom as well?? I don't understand what Akk's personality is supposed to be. Also, I nearly jumped out of my skin when I saw that damn doll - I thought it was a freaking student being burned alive omg
