On ep 4 now but was curious what the comments would be like for this and im kinda disappointed. I get why those who havent watched the original would be mad for the lower ratings by those who did watch the original and while i agree that it probably doesnt deserve a 1 rating saying that because its a kdrama and its on netflix that it will be the most well known version is not it. The reason this remake of a drama exists in the first place is because the Taiwanese drama was a hit. They even had a whole movie that did well internationally. Its obviously up to you whether you want to watch the OG or not since I watched before a remake was even announced i didnt have that choice. So for me, it is a bit difficult to not compare or fully be invested in it as i already know the story. So far i think the actors are doing great and the writing is ok too but for those who only stick to watching kdramas, i disagree with at least not giving a chance to the original because the actors were great and the writing and production too and they deserve recognition. Just because its not on netflix doesnt mean it should be overlooked or isnt popular
All of the Korean remakes of Chinese and Taiwanese dramas I've seen have been shit (A Love So Beautiful, In Time…
It makes me sad too cause people will be too lazy and not bother to go back and watch the original especially since its not available on netflix. Im very protective about the original because it was one I binged all in one day a few years back and it was such a mindblowing experience i had so many feelings. Rhe acting, the osts, the story. 😠ill try and watch this one and just hope it does some justice to the original
has this filmed? if it has, rest assured we will get it in the future, just a matter of when
Yes i believe they finished filming last year but the kdrama industry is in a bit of a mess right now. Theres a lot of dramas already done filming but not enough channels willing to pick them up. If you noticed most channels got rid of their wed/thurs line ups so that didnt help.
He ends up with neither. I can spoil the whole ending if you want cause stuff happens ðŸ˜
Okay well male lead does date ha eun but he seems to be more into mi so. By the end, ha eun ends up almost marrying him but decides not to. She leaves him at the altar. Ha eun ends up pregnant with his baby though. I wont spoil the rest unless you want me to 😅
hi, can anyone please share, is this remake better than the original one or not? i'm curious to watch this soul…
Now having watched both I do think I like the remake better simply because I think the writing is better. I did watch this remake first so that can make a difference but as i watched the original the pacing seemed very rushed and i do think the remake fleshes out the characters more which i think is what the original is missing. The acting is on point in both films but i feel like i was missing a lot in the original that had i not watched the remake first id feel so lost. Lol any one else who has watched both please agree or agree to disagree with me lol
Surprised by all the negative comments cause this drama wasnt that terrible imo. Lol i usually dont like im soo hyangs acting but i think she actually did a decent job in this role.
