I really love sood, and at the same time, I've been hyped up about this ever since it was announced. Honestly, I'm not keen on suggesting people to watch the og before this remake like who wants to see the same storyline and characters all over again, right? But I just can't help to be sad bc obviously this drama is gonna get way more hype than the og ever did. On the bright side, I'm also happy because it'll pique the curiosity of many viewers of this version and they might end up watching the original. anw can't wait to watch this version and be heartbroken again and again.

EDIT: This is my first Yeobeen and Kanghoon drama, and i know that Yeobeen will do justice to the characters of Yuxuan and Yunru (considering her filmography). I'm also thrilled to see how Kanghoon will portray my fave character.

I have a feeling that Do yoon wan might come back in this season too, even tho I haven't seen any news about him joining the cast and I'm honestly tired of him being the villain again but he might be the reason behind this assemblyman yoo who wants to shutdown the doldam and to start the ecocity. and in return, Assemblyman Yoo is using Assemblywoman Ko because of her all out war with doldam that cjm created in the first place.

the character's potential went down the moment they cast him. They should've known better.

if you translate the Korean title, it says 'Nangmandakteo Kim Sabu,' which means 'Romantic Doctor Kim Sabu 3.' Idk why they always change the English title. This also happens in other dramas like TGBM. The Korean title is simply 'Bad Mother,' but they added '𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥 Bad Mother,' and other people mention what's good about her parenting lol

When I saw the casting news on twt earlier this year, that he was going to play the new villain, I was like, 'srsly? what were they thinking?' And even now, I still don't understand why the production team chose him, like considering how problematic he is irl and the fact that his character has a significant role and have much screen time than the main leads. "is this worth it all?" Like, he's one of the reasons why this season is struggling. both S1 and S2 achieved over 20% ratings nationwide by episode 8 (correct me if I'm wrong). but now 😭

right? I always thought that Hayoung and Kang Ho were together for just a year before he asked her to marry him. But then, in episode 10. seeing the baby carriage when mijoo and her friend saw kang ho and hayoung outside the court.I just think that they must have been together for a 7 or 6 years, considering the age of the twins now.

I saw it coming that the writer will try to give Hayoung a redemption arc. And honestly, she has no redemption arc for me (sorry her attitude is irking me) but ngl I feel bad for her. Her dad totally used her, and Kangho also used her for [ ̶7̶ ̶y̶e̶a̶r̶s̶ ] 4 years(?) to seek justice for his dad's death. But still, that doesn't excuse/justify her actions when she basically tried to kill Kangho.

For a second, I thought they really pulled off the makjang plot when Kangho heard his father's voice talking to him when he was still in the belly of his mother. Anyway, I'm really happy that he finally got his memory back.

I just read today that Chae Soo bin got offered the role of yoo sang-ah. honestly, I never saw that coming but I know she'll grow on me just like lmh's casting earlier this month.
So now I'm curious, who will they reveal next for the role of Han Sooyoung

my two theories regarding the last scene: 1. Tae Soo is ahead of his plan, and 2. Kang Ho fabricates proof that he really killed the mom and the baby because it makes sense him recording the car sinking is not enough proof.

And Kang Ho knows how impulsive his mother is, so maybe he prepared and hid a copy of everything somewhere safe me thinks 🤡

i'm still planning to watch the queen umbrella, but i've seen many clips and edits of him while it's still airing. so, i was kind of shocked when i saw him in duty after school portraying a class clown and not the main lead role. but i didn't see it as a downgrade; instead, i saw it as a showcase of how good an actor he is and his range. moreover, when you look at the timeline of production for both dramas, duty after school had its casting announced first, and filming began in august 2021. as for the queen umbrella, from what i remember, i read about the casting lineup news in mid-2022(?). its just that utqu was released first.

I somewhat agree with your thoughts. and I appreciate the writer's intention to explore the supporting characters, not just the main ones. However, I can't help but feel that the writer may have run out of ideas. I've noticed that some problems they face in this season are similar to those in season 1 but with different approaches and twists.

If you're referring to the viewership of the live broadcast of Episode 6, then international viewership doesn't count and doesn't affect the ratings that Nielsen Korea releases for every episode. However, OTT streaming platforms in South Korea can really affect the ratings because Koreans can watch it on Disney+ and Wavve if they're busy or missed it. I also read on twitter that the episodes are released on OTT platforms just minutes after the drama airs, which explains why the ratings were low.
