I’ve been thinking, maybe the CEO and the writer weren’t even supposed to fall in love? (We were just ahead of ourselves because we know they’re second leads, so they’re supposed to have some kind of love line, but I don’t think that’s the case here since it feels really weird, at least for me.) It seems like this was just to set up their spin-off. Like, imagine in the spin-off, the writer wakes up in her own novel, and the male lead has the same face as the guy she hates most in real life.

after reading the synopsis for the second lead's spin-off, I kinda get it now why the ceo and writer's dynamic feels so weird to me. I'm side-eyeing the screenwriter if jayeon somehow ends up falling for gyuhyun here

yeah just wondering bc looking at the top reviews now, I don't think it's about the likes (like how many ppl found it helpful) 'cause those 2 reviews had more likes. Maybe it's the algo but now that you mentioned it, I'm more curious what happened to them

Well coolforthesummer's review rated it a 10 and got 600+ likes, and Lex's review rated it a 6 and got 400+ at that time. Both have valid reviews and pointed out constructive criticism. I guess it still depends on MDL's algorithm(?)

If I wasn't familiar with the characters, I would be confused about the relationship between Gong Yoo's character and Tang Wei's character. Like why did they make Tang Wei not recognize him without any explanation? 😭

No, as much as I hated tvn for their lack of promotions during the first eps of lr, I don't think they are responsible for this. The vacation reward was given by the production company (Bon Factory) to all the cast and crew, and I think they are also the ones who choose the schedule (I'm disappointed with them for not choosing the right date). But yeah, I kinda expected this, that some cast members wouldn't be able to attend as the drama got massively popular and actors got booked and busy. But not gonna lie, I'm kinda sad reading the confirmation news.

This also happened on Goblin. As far as I know, all the main cast were unable to attend the reward vacation because everybody got busy with their own schedules, and the production team had booked reservation tickets in advance. But I guess their respective agencies didn't allow them to go lol
