although i want to ask about the ending, it shows that everyone lives.... but then i just don't believe there would be that happy of an ending

like i remember dongsheng and chaoyang talked about the descartes story with the happy ending and the sad ending

and then when dong sheng died didn't he say something like "you can believe the fairytale"

so is it telling us that ew can believe the happy ending if we want to???
