I got told the synopsis a while ago, so it may not be right but if they stick with the dark version of the novel they won't end up together. Rape isn't romanticized. Keng tries to apologise but Shin refuses.

the first couple of episodes to me were boring and really plain. but it did end up getting a little better. although some characters and scenes were annoying, which i skipped. it certainly wasn't amazing but somewhat enjoyable.
I really liked the main character, despite being cold he was charismatic and at times humorous. However, the two female leads sometimes got annoying. Yet I still really enjoyed this one!
To be honest, the first half of the movie was quite "meh". But I really fell in love with the second half! The movie doesn't really feel like the "usual story". Nothing gets resolved, it just feels like you are sitting back and watching a sequence of peculiar events. Nonetheless, the relationship between Nanami and Mashiro was the highlight of this film. Not to mention it was really nice to see Nanami go from really reserved and quiet to truly finding happiness within herself.
Some of the "gore" was a bit unrealistic and certain parts of the plot were sloppy. I wouldn't call it gore, just mild violence. If you can't handle blood then this probably isn't for you. Not to mention I got a little bored halfway through. But the contrast in colours and the symbolism was quite pretty. Overall, an "okay" type of film.
This movie was just okay. You can tell certain effects were fake. I mean the movie was bad, but honestly, it was enjoyable. Nothing special. Although, since I couldn't find the sub version, I ended up watching shitty English dub. AND I AM NOT EVEN JOKING THE DUB WAS SO BAD THAT I PRACTICALLY DIED LAUGHING. The dub was, in my opinion, the best part lmao.
