I watched the press conference video last night and hearing the director said that this My Demon drama had little time for planning (he was hired in march this year like that, if im not mistaken, and immediately need to start shooting) , and what he focused on were the visuals of the leads & osts, made me think that this drama was not even intended to be regarded highly in terms of story etc.

So, i think people who wants to look for perfect unique story with amazing perfect acting can look past this drama and check other shows. Those who are in the mood for something silly, brainless fun and swoony leads can try the first episode. So far, i am crazy about this drama and waiting for each episode is trully a torture!

I loveeeeee the ost by Dawn soooo much!!! Been waiting since the ending of Ep1 and currently listening on repeat. I love dramas with nice osts ❤️

Whats wrong with the poor rating? There are many other ways that determine the success of a drama. One example that i could think of is the You're Beautiful kdrama in 2009, which had poor rating but was very successful. For this drama to trend in netflix is already a success. The drama&main lead couple were also among the most buzzworthy in korea.

Me too.. I couldnt even enjoy watching other shows as i kept thinking about this drama. I often refresh this page, youtube & X, hoping too see new videos or anything else related My Demon. I wish the production could release more bts, and the main lead couple could appear in more tv shows, interviews, events etc

Why are you taking the ratings in MDL here so seriously? They are given by viewers, including fans, not experts or juries for year end awards.

When i want to find dramas to watch, i look at not only the rating, but also the reviews,
comments, number of watchers etc. If i end up disliking high rated shows , i dont go to that drama page to complain about people who enjoy it.

I have no problem with people criticising this drama, but to criticise fans of this drama for liking what they want and rate this drama however they want is just pathetic.

So far, 6 episodes in, I'm having such a blast with this drama. Writing this while listening to the ost by Dawn, honestly, the feeling of having something that i've longed for is indescribable. I cant remember the last drama that I am this obsessed. I truly hope My Demon can continue to be this good until the end, so that it can be among the dramas that i can turn to when i need something to rewatch.

Currently, Because This is My First Life, Weighlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo, and Marriage Not Dating are among the few of my go-to-dramas. There are several shows that i was crazy about during its airing, but something makes the drama not rewatchable, such as the ending or serious/heavy storylines. Many dramas that i did love certain aspects or scenes, but not completely the whole drama to make me want to rewatch them again. Really cant wait for next episodes! How i wish this is produced by netflix and released all at once.

It seems that you are just butthurt that your favourite show did not receive the attention you think it deserves. You are free to feel like that, but why direct your dissatisfaction towards other people who have different taste, preference, and opinion than yours? The quality of worst of evil may be better, but it does not mean people will like it. I did not like king the land, but i never once criticise the fans of the drama because what i like and what i deem great does not mean others will have the same views as me. Drama is for entertainment, and those that entertain me deserve recognition in the form of rating in my book.

I also the type who look for shows to watch based on rating and reviews. But even if certain shows have high rating and great reviews, i dont complain about it when it turns out not to my liking. I just move on and try other shows.

In my opinion, even though some aspects of My Demon are cliche and predictable, there are also other aspects of this drama that are unique and have not been done by other shows, or at least rarely done.

Previous immortal characters in dramas usually want to be human but Gu Won does not. Previous immortal characters look fierce, scare, and manly, but Gu Won is the cute, funny, chidish type. Same goes to Do Hee, a cute, funny CEO, a female lead who wears her heart on her sleeve, face problem head on, solve her curiosities immediately.

Nothing is perfect in this world. Even if My Demon has rooms for improvement, I feel thankful to all the casts&crews for the hard work and job well done, that I want to express my gratitude in the form of a 10/10.

Taking the tango scene as an example, i dont know about you, but i can feel the passion and determination of the production team to bring joy to their viewers. Nonetheless, since people get attracted and touched by different things in different ways, its completely understandable if some of you do not relate to the enjoyment I felt.

Drama is for entertainment and what attract one's attention and enjoyment are totally subjective.

Its been ages that I am this obsessed with a drama that I keep rewatching the episodes, looking for other videos like bts, interviews etc. My enjoyment with My Demon is a complete 10/10.

I tried to watch the Worst of Evil before but could not even get past the first episode. I was maybe not in the mood for that kind of drama, or its just not my cup of tea. I enjoyed Vigilante, and although that drama did not receive much attention, i did not go around complaining about it and demand people to like it too. I believe people should just respect that everyone has different taste and entitled to vote based on their personal experience and preference.

I believe everyone has different taste. Try the first few episodes, and if u do not enjoy it, move on, and watch other shows.
