Unlike most people here, I did not find this boring at all. I thought the main leads had a great chemistry and second leads were fun to watch as well. It is hard to hate a drama with Park Bo Young in it.
The only thing I didn't like was the ending because it felt very... abrupt? Like it felt like episode finished out of nowhere for me lol.
Also, a question that I'll spoiler in the reply, if someone could answer that would be great bc I was confused about a plot line.
It felt like the first 12 episodes were fillers. Everything happened in the last few episodes. Acting was good, but I think 8.8 is a bit much for this drama. I would have loved to see more scenes from the Joseon period.
You will laugh a lot, you will cry a lot. As pretty much everybody on here said, it is a masterpiece. If you are a kdrama fan, you should one hundred percent watch this. Amazing romance and amazing bromance. I just finished it and I don't know what to do with myself.
This movie was absolutely amazing. You will tear up one hundred percent. There were a few funny scenes as well. It might hit closer to home for you especially if you are from somewhere that is going through similar things. It's a must watch.
I am so glad I wasn't fooled by some of the comments here and the relatively low rating. This was such a cute drama! I watched it so fast, im sad it's over now. Sure it's full of cliches but most romantic kdramas are like that I think. I thought it was heartwarming. The OST was very good too!
I am not gonna lie the second female lead was kinda annoying, but oh well.
I am sorry but how could she possibly pick cha eun woo instead of hwang in yeop??? idk if it's because his character was written like that or if he can't act well, but i didn't see much range of emotions from him. the writers should have surprised us and make her pick the second lead in the end.
I just couldn't get over how the FL did not go back to her fiancee because if the ML hadn't done what he did, she would have married her fiancee. She loved him enough to marry him. I just can't wrap my head around it.
everybody died like omg, also i really wanted empress ki to be with wang yu, BUT HE DIED TOO?!??!? TALTAL, one…
oh my god, thank you! i sooo wanted her to be with wang yu. I was crushed by his death. Their kid shouldn't have died. He was literally depressed for 40 episodes damn -_-
Does this get better? I watched 6 episodes and Im still not into it. I don't like the FL for some reason, I wish someone else was casted. Should I continue?
