don't be discouraged by the low ratings, short/mini series always have the higher chance of end up getting rated lower than full length ones

I thought the 1st season was pretty good and yes you should watch the first one because it's a transmigration story and it would be helpful to understand what had happened prior

yes there's are flashback scenes to the 1st season and also mentions of what happened in the ending of that season as well
