Btw, The Untamed is actually considered a xianxia drama even though it's quite subtle at parts and has some martial arts. There are lots of references to Daoism/Taoism in it and has mythical creatures etc.

its not the same genre as the untamed is xianxia aka chinese fanasty/mythical genre while wuxia is martial arts and jiang hu stuff

exact time periods are unknown they are both just in historical/ancient settings

I am currently watching sassy beauty and who rules the world (along w/ some others)
both are quite good (though for sassy beauty (its a bit eh slow at the beginning you have to get past ep2-3 and it gets better))
