I think the problem is that people are only watching this for IU (and I don't blame them because I'm doing the same) and they're used to the usual 16 - 20 episode drama format. They're not used to the much slower pace of a 50 episode drama so they start to loose patience, skip parts and eventually lose interest. You have to understand before you start watching that a longer drama is less about the plot and more about building the characters.

I've got a bit of a commitment phobia so having a silent lover would be perfect, but I seem to attract a lot of forever there type instead >.<

There's also Minwoo (Shinhwa) and Jun.K (2pm) - especially when they have their glasses on!

When it comes to melodramas I usually wait for it to be complete before I start watching - I just can't handle cliffhangers. This one's definitely on my list though :3

My personal favorite is Family Outing - first season only. I loved the hyori/dumb and dumber chemistry - it was hilarious to follow along. The first 40-ish episodes of Running Man are awesome, too. Can't forget We Got Married, of course. Can you make an article about top Variety Show couples?

Variety TV shows work, too. Especially if you can find ones with your favorite actor as a guest <:

I'm not sure how I feel about having four main leads because I'm the type of person that hates complicated side stories, but - as a graphic designer, and having recently taken an advertising class - I'm looking forward to a drama revolving around advertising. Is it going to be the Korean version of Mad Men? Here's to hoping it's even better :3

I haven't seen Bridal Mask yet but City Hunter is one of my all time favorite movies.

I loved the Japanese version, but let's be honest, Korean dramas tend to have WAY better style (wardrobe and interior). I'm not sure about the changes in the plot, though.
