ohhh i see! thank you for explaining to me. yesterday i found that this drama would be broadcasted on tencent, so i thought wetv gonna air it soon or at least put schedule on it.
the only thing i regret for watching the untamed is when i first watched it, i never watched any wuxia dramas before. i tend to watch modern dramas with minimal angst. with lack of reading any reviews or spoilers, i came unprepared, then this drama hit me with the heavy angst and i just couldn't watch it anymore. so i took a break for a while. it's more than half a year later when i decided to continue watching the drama. if you're like me who usually doesn't enjoy any wuxia drama with so much angst, you probably need to watch something else first. build up the energy. then pick the untamed when you feel "strong enough" and have a time to watch 50 eps for days in a row.
if only the production didn't include the racist comment on the very first episode, this drama would get a higher rating for sure. poor all the actors, most of them are newcomers. i enjoyed this drama despite the first episode, but because i don't understand chinese and the subs didn't include anything about racist comment, so i finished the drama without feeling upset or anything. but ugh, after i came here, i couldn't believe they put racist comment like that.
i've been watching a lot of dramas and this one makes me really happy to see the leads have an off chart chemistry and mostly the story is simple and fun. for youth/college drama, this surprisingly has a lot of kisses and hugs. the couple really behave like a "couple", not stiff or else. there's one episode i didn't enjoy as much as the others, so i skipped a lot on that episode. but other than that, everything's good.
this drama reminds me of "put your head on my shoulder", for the overload cuteness and love triangle. but if i'm being honest, i love this drama a little bit more because of the main couple, they're so cute together. i like the female lead for being lively and bubbly, she's like a fresh of air.
the only thing i don't like of this drama is the bullies. it's not that bad, but super unnecessary. i wish the production toned it down.
it's crazy how the rating dropped to 8.1 when it should be higher! this drama has a nice start and if you're looking for a lot of skinships between the main couple, then this is for you. also if you want to see a secondary couple who's not boring and instead making you actually interested, then go watch this asap! :)
edit: ok i'm so happy the rating increased to 8.5!!!
i can't believe i need to say goodbye to xie yun and zhou fei :( seriously i think from all the dramas out there, they have one of the healthies relationship with amazing dynamic; no misunderstanding, no love triangle, they love and trust each other so much, once they acknowledge their feelings they're not trying to deny it and simply being honest. they know that there's no anyone else but each other. since their first meeting, their chemistry was instant. i love that even tho they're started as friends, the attraction is already there.
i still can't believe some people said that yiling looks old, i mean am i the only one who think that yiling looks so much younger like she is in her early twenties? and she suit the role as fei
could you please give me a spoiler of the ending? i wanna watch it with not much expectation :(

omg yes the closing ost really hits different! i usually only like one or two songs in the drama but all the songs in legend of fei are very beautiful and memorable <3
