Actually I think the ending was suppose to be even sweeter because there were scenes not shown yet in the drama. It actually got cut from 60 episodes to 40. Although, I'm not sure if keeping the missing eps would make it more draggy.

Well in God realm he was punish for his greed so it wasn't like Sang Qi who was push to being evil. I didn't really sympathize for his character there. I do feel you though it's hard to watch him playing villians. I wish they release Our Little Secret so that we have something to balance it out.

He was a fallen God from the heaven realm who was cast into the unending abyss as punishment, where there is no life or death, etc. The demon lord helped him to be reborn, so he has no memories. The leads also fell from the heaven realm and got reincarnated. I mean the reborn part was done by ep 3 and then just continue from that life. The drama was cut from like 50 episodes so it's pretty fast pace and hard to understand in the beginning.

He was villian from ep 1 although he was reborn again in demon realm and lost his memories. I think he follow along and want to take control of three realms as payback (at least initially anyway). I don't think it's the most villian character he play. Maybe because most scenes is more about his obsession/love with fl.
