I agree with Poongs. To be honest, as a SeoYoung and YoungJoo shipper, this episode pretty much confirmed for me that they will end up together. Why? 1) It was revealed that YoungJoo ended the fake relationship after EunBi urged him to act on his feelings and commit. This tells us that he didn't break up with her because he got tired of her. 2) Everyone is insisting in front of YoungJoo that SeoYoung is "fine" after he ended the relationship (this also continues in the preview for episode 10). This shows that YoungJoo is working on the assumption that SeoYoung isn't really invested; he's going to be shocked to find out she has been invested for a long time. 3) The preview for episode 10 shows that SeoYoung is going to start spending time with YoungJoo's mom. YoungJoo is a Mama's boy, so this is definitely setting things up for the two of them. Even though he broke things off for now; she''ll still be a part of his life. All these things together, show that once JiWon lets him down, he can start seeing SeoYoung differently.
I AGREE! I don't know how either. She is so sweet and thoughtful, and the gift is proof of that. She is always there for Eun-Bi and YoungJoo, and she is willing to go out of her way for them. She went above and beyond for YoungJoo, and she never forced him to stay. Honestly, she's the most dynamic out of all of them (I love them all though).

We are only halfway through. There is still a lot of time. I think they are using the love triangle as extra angst. We'll see YoungJoo fall in love with SeoYoung slowly. Just wait and see.

I think so; YoungJoo's crush on JiWon is surface-level. SeoYoung really loves him, and there is obviously a connection between them. We will slowly see YoungJoo develop his feelings for SeoYoung.
