Great contribution to LGBT cinema from HK. It's amazing how much this short film packs into 45 mins. Parent-child and social homophobia, generational and cultural differences and attitudes. How being gay can cross social divisions between partners. HIV and its effects and how it can be faced better when in the open and with supportive partners and friends. The key is more openness instead of being forced into the out-of-date closet. Great acting, including supporting cast, and direction. Music gentle and unobtrusive, good fit for this movie.

Can Korean elite society and schools really be this bad?

it keeps you engaged with the fascination of evil。 but designer labels do not substitute for good acting。the big flaw here was the final episode: a whole drama is based on an evil gang of malignant narcissist teen bullies (all the worse for being student age) and then trying to give them a human face in the final episode、 with the worst offenders Woo Jin benefiting from a cover up、 the sinister Ri An transformed into a romantic prince and the truly obnoxious He Ra rescued from a family bankruptcy and suffering the well deserved humiliations of poverty、 while the adults responsible for their birth continue on their sociopathic paths。 meanwhile Jae-I is too good to be true、 finally being transformed into a madonna-like figure of self abnegation and altruism。the only decent character、actor and story line was Kang Ha。I admit I don't get the final scene: who was killed and why? maybe revenge on Park Tae Ho (principal's son?) with this and the new principal it seems things are left open for a sequel maybe?I go with the general rating with a generous 7/10

unusual cop x gangster romance

as they say, the whole is better than the sum of its parts the concept on which the drama is based of a relationship between a gangster and a cop is absurd、 the police story thriller background hangs together but is unoriginal and rather weak、 this is not only the most unconventional relationship but the most unconventional police unit I have ever seen、 maybe work is so laid back in Taiwan we should all get a work visa there、 but somehow the drama comes together into an enjoyable whole the greatest strength is the endearing romance and characters of Tang Yi, Shao Fei and the second leads、Jack and Zhao Li An .。there is enough mystery to keep you interested and the background bio story brings the story together。final episode is very well done with the right amounts of romance, emotion, love-making and closure。 very enjoyable watch and cute romance and definitely re-watchable in the future。 I only just started watching Taiwan dramas and I also like they are very much more open about gay relationships in public than k drama, j dorama and c drama。💖🌈

Very funny, great characters, plenty of action so far, hope it keeps up the comedy and gender-bending and doesn't start getting all heavy.

I agree with the other reviewer, it's painfully slow and sentimental, I really do not see police officers, especially cadets, behaving like that. Despite the attractions of Miura Haruma and Sato Koichi, I really can't take this seriously. Miura as the clean cut recruit looks nothing like his real self and is totally out of character. His haircut sucks. Sato is just not convincing as a tough guy cop turned instructor. I think both landed a stinker here. A generous 4/10.

Story - unoriginal, unbelievable
Acting/cast - on paper Miura and Sato ought to be a dream team, here they are more like a dead duck
Music - ?
Re-watch - unwatchable
