Ok, I'm pleasantly surprised right now!!! I thought heirs is hopeless but the last two episodes (11 &12;) were so much better than any of the previous episodes ! my rating till ep 10 was 5 by the end of 11 was 6 and now its 7!! hope it keeps getting better!

Hello there! Thanks for the request! it's nice to find ppl with the same interests as me!! OMG I'm so excited to find someone who has also loved "Departures" !!!! it's one of my favorite movies of all time!
I've read the Liar Game's manga but haven't watched the drama yet, mainly because I'm not sure if it will be as good as the manga! Have you read the manga?

I love learning about different cultures! I would love to go to east asia and live there for a few years, it's just that I'm not sure if it will be possible! ( I have too many things that I want to achieve, like getting my PhD and then working in an amazing research lab and stuff like that ! ) The thing about chinese is that I'm not sure if I would be able to ever get the pronunciation correct! (since it's a tonal language!)

OMG Heirs is so bad!!! I'm not a big fan of high school dramas, bust since LMH was in it I decided to give it a try ( having Kim Woo Bin from A Gentleman's Dignity was also a plus) But by the end of each episode I'm seriously asking myself why am I watching this !!!

LMH's acting is so bad that I don't even think of him as LMH, but rather his brother who has no acting skills!! Other than his bad acting, the clothes he wears are sooooo bad! I don't really care for Park Shin-hye either, she doesn't add or take away anything from this drama.
There is almost no story going on right now! Can you believe that the most interesting part of the drama are the scenes of the 2 older supporting roles(the scenes with the mothers of the two main characters)! Well on the plus side, Kim Woo Bin's acting is surprisingly good ---> main reason I'm still watching it + I have hope that it'll pick up!

well said! I completely agree with u ! The reason I said I don't have least favorite genres is simply because when choosing what to watch, I don't make a decision based on genres of the drama. I tend to base my decision on the storyline, ratings, reviews, and actors/actresses.

Wow Mandarin! That's amazing! I'm basically scared of learning chinese !I'm thinking of either learning korean or japanese! Haven't decided which one yet! I just love both countries so much !

I guess my criteria for a good drama is very similar to what you've written on your page, though I don't have a least favorite genre! I can enjoy anything as long as it has a well developed/logical plot and a happy ending! I tend to enjoy complex & unpredictable plot lines. I also love psychological and fantasy plot lines! Oh and I love smart characters! basically I can enjoy anything that is well executed ! :D illogical/cliched/cheesy elements in plots really spoil the drama for me!

BTW u have to watch good doctor (that is if you like medical genre) It's amazing!

I haven't watched 3 of ur favorite dramas!! though, I've read the manga "Mars", and it's one of my all time favorites! One reason I haven't watched the drama yet is because I would hate it if the drama doesn't live up to the manga!

OH GOD why is LMH's acting sooooo bad in this drama!!!! It's like he's constantly depressed/tired/bored!!

wow this is pretty bad! I loved LMH in Faith and City hunter, but he's rapidly loosing his credibility for me with this drama!! the only semi interesting character is Choi Young Do!! I hope it gets better!!

2- LA: ok it's common knowledge that the only way one can get to anywhere in LA is by car! but she basically walks to the beach, her sister's apartment, and her sister's work! Later they started using some caps when LMH, so maybe she did use car/cab but they just chose not to show us that part! and excuse me for not buying the whole beans/drug/cop drama! it was beyond stupid! there is NO WAY the cop would get the passport like that!

It's too early to judge but the first 2 episodes were poorly written!!! the things that bugged my the most were :
1- the mother: I feel like the writer don't have a good/proper understanding of her disability and don't know how to deal with it! personally I hate the fact that the daughter told her mom not to sign in the street because it's embarrassing. or the fact that her kids run away from her just because of her disability! it's very disturbing!! not to mention calling her mom from the U.S. when she clearly knows her mom cannot speak is beyond ignorant!! I mean their cellphone should have Skype, Facetime or some kind of application for them to actually see each other!!! Seriously these are just basic stuff!!
