Title Dear Hongrang
What confused you? I thought it all made sense.
I totally agree, like there were several things, the prince was like we all knew from start that he was the villain, there was no mystery of anything there. And the father it’s baffling that he did not suspect the painter when his son went missing, if he had know his son had died he wouldn’t have been shocked when it was revealed that hong rang was not real. I get that while torturing he did say he wasn’t sure if hong rang had been his child or not but it still doesn’t explain him accepting the hongrang initially. And the brothers of hongrang I get they are loyal to hongrang, but seems like they controlled him also. Why would they help hong rang get revenge but at the same time force him. All for kkot nim ? Why are they loyal to her or the shaman . Nothing was explained. Also, the story lacked a lot of world building. Maybe because novels doesn’t require it but dramas does. I realised there are a lot less members in the hongrang world. Like who is the king? Where are the ministers or other royal members ? Never seen any villagers except jae yi friends and Jin mu gang. Snow man was also not explained.
