Your family wouldn’t have faced such suffering if Hamas hadn’t launched a terrorist attack on Israel in October…
December 1987 - An Israeli driver kills four Palestinians in a car accident that sparks the first intifada, or uprising, against Israeli occupation in the West Bank and Gaza. The image of Palestinians throwing rocks at Israeli tanks becomes the enduring image of the intifada. Over the next six years, roughly 200 Israelis and 1,300 Palestinians are killed.
September 2000 - Israeli politicians, including Ariel Sharon, a controversial retired Israeli general, visit the Temple Mount/Haram al-Sharif. The Palestinians view the visit as an effort to change the status quo at the holy site. The ensuing demonstrations turn violent, marking the beginning of a second intifada. It will last until 2005 and be markedly more violent than the first intifada. Four thousand Palestinians and one thousand Israelis died.
July - August 2014 - After tit-for-tat attacks on Israeli and Palestinian civilians by extremists on both sides, Israel invades the Gaza Strip. The operation, code-named Protective Edge, lasts for fifty days, killing about two thousand Gazans, sixty-six Israeli soldiers, and five Israeli civilians. Unlike the conflicts from 2008 to 2009 and in 2012, Palestinian rocket fire targets major Israeli cities. The war ends after the United States, in consultation with Egypt, Israel, and other regional powers, brokers a cease-fire. https://education.cfr.org/learn/timeline/israeli-palestinian-conflict-timeline
March 2018 – Palestinian protests begin at Gaza’s fenced border with Israel and Israeli troops open fire to keep them back. More than 170 Palestinians killed in several months of protests, prompting fighting between Hamas and Israeli forces.
May 2021 – After weeks of tension during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, hundreds of Palestinians are injured by Israeli security forces at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in Jerusalem. Hamas demanded Israel withdraw security forces from the compound. Israel launched air raids on Gaza in response to what it said were rockets fired from Gaza. In the fighting that went on for 11 days, at least 260 people were killed in Gaza and 13 died in Israel.
August 2022 – More than 30 Palestinians, including women and children, killed in new air attacks carried out by Israeli planes. Palestinian Islamic Jihad, whose two commanders were killed in the air strikes, fires dozens of rockets into Israel in response/defence.
This is not just about October 2023, look at the past you fool. Innocent Palestinians have been relentlessly suffering at the hands of Israelis way before October 2023.
The problem isn't the fact that he watched p*rn (he's a grown ass man for god's sake) nor is it that he accidentally…
We've got s*xual abusers, multiple DUI's, a homophobe, a cheater, r@pists and now a r@pe p*rn watcher 😪 Casting crew really couldn't find actors that ain't corrupt or rotten? 😬
Hope Gong yoo, Im siwan, Wi ha joon, David lee and Kang ha neul never disappoint😘
Terrible group... Same for Starlight boys. What an utter waste of time these survival shows were...
exactly, if they're gonna debut those with just visuals or those that are cute and young, why bother with these goddamn shows. These are the kind of shows where I expect loads of talent to debut, but the lineup is always planned and turns out to be sh*t in comparison to what could've been created if fans would just focus on/acknowledge talented trainees.
I wanna go back to the times where 1st of all - fans were not in charge of voting, but instead those that debuted were trained to amazing levels of professionalism, to actually be able to sing/rap and dance live (seems these components of being an idol don't matter no more, as soon as fans see a good looking individual (usually based on Korean beauty standards) or a cute trainee, they dive for them and become desperate for them to debut even though they bring nothing to the group) and 2nd - idols could actually sing or rap live. I already know that these guys will have to be constantly lip syncing, due to the amount of talented trainees JTBC lost (who could've actually sung live (e.g kang hyunwoo, lee hanbin, wu chenyu, oh taehwan etc)).
Fans need to stop voting for visuals, cuteness and those that need time to improve when there's so many talented/ready to debut trainees on these kinda shows.
I might suggest checking out universe league, right now it's looking pretty good in that nearly all the trainees are talented and it seems like a good lineup could be formed 🙏🫶
In the debut members of CLOSE YOUR EYES, I still can't believe that 2 slot is a waste. One, I see his improvement…
I'm sure the other trainees that didn't debut with the group are happy, cus they would have had to hard carry this group and receive no praise or acknowledgement for doing so (unless of course a whole load of talented trainees had made it to debut). Such a powerful, mature and talent filled group could've been created, but young fans wanted young trainees that just look cute.
During the show, I couldn't help but think those trainees that literally gave 1-on-1 lessons and training to 'you know who', must have been so disappointed constantly seeing him rank higher than them. I'm genuinely still baffled at the amount of talented trainees JTBC had, and then chose to eliminate 🤧 The ones that did debut are talented, but there were so many more talented trainees ready to debut and could've actually competed against groups such as stray kids and ateez for example. This group unfortunately you can't compare to any talented and popular groups.
To me this whole group just doesn't make sense, you've got minors that can basically only dance, 1 main rapper and some sub-vocalists (at most).
I am excited for my main boy got #1 but the rest no. Minwook should've gotten #2. Those are the only 2 I liked…
I agree. The rest of them are talented in their own ways (mainly dance) but there were trainees that were even more talented and were ready to debut (didn't need time to improve). Like in the stage performances, the ones who debuted didn't really catch my eye. Trainees that did, were always like kang hyunwoo, hanbin, heeju, kim hyunwoo, taeyu, chen yu, yura, hyunjae, junseo, these trainees also had the ability to either sing and dance or rap and dance. Something which the majority of the debuted trainees in CYE can't do, cus again, they mainly focus on dance.
There was so much talent that was lost on this show, could've at least created 3 or 4 groups with the talented trainees, that's how much there was. I really hope to see 'em on Boys planet 2 or other survival shows, cus JTBC didn't appreciate their talent nor give them enough screentime.
Project 7 and other similar shows (those really keen on debuting trainees based on their visuals and cuteness) justify companies to debut trainees, that unfortunately don't have the skills to be an idol, just the looks. Compared to the amount of talent we had with 2nd and 3rd gen groups, the standards have really dropped. I don't think I'll support this group, but I'll check up on them every now and then for Minwook.
you're totally right! im, myself, a proper adult and I felt awkward watching these minors doing dances and songs…
I'm 18 yrs old but I'd rather see adult individuals debut, cus it just feels really weird to support minors in kpop. I would highly recommend you check out MYTRO, they're all attractive, all adults and all of them have amazing vocals🥺
There's been way too many boy groups debuting recently with fluffy/boyish or cute concepts, so it would've been a really nice change for them to have debuted a group of adult members so they can do a more mature concept. Considering the amount of youngsters in this group it's likely they'll have to do a boyish or hip-hop concept (even though they lost some of the best rappers on the show). And quite frankly, personally, I just felt like the adult trainees had better stage presence, vocal capability and were just overall more talented than the minors in the show. I would've been willing to support a group made up of the talented adult trainees. Not everyone would agree but that's my personal opinion
They should have been named Plain Toast Oppa Group. Honestly the blandest lineup since the bland lineup of Boys…
Oppa? there's so many minors in the group it's unbelievable 😂 I would suggest watching universe league, although it is to create a boy group. There's iland - 2 if you haven't already watched it and Girls on fire. Btw, I have not watched these so I'm not sure if they have good endings
I´m curious to know who from the eliminated will go to boys planet II
me too, I'm really hoping to see taeyu, hanbin, kang hyunwoo, hyunjae, yechan and so many talented individuals on there. Their talent was ignored, especially by frickin' kids calling the adult trainees old. I feel like there should be an age minimum to vote (cus why was I hearing that 12 year olds were voting on weverse?) or just having judges that will acknowledge and praise talent to choose who they want to debut
Yea tbh I dropped after taeyu and Hyunjae got eliminated... I just knew it wasn't going to be a proper lineup.…
I still genuinely cannot believe they got rid of main rapper material like taeyu, yechan and hyunjae. My sister dropped the show right after taeyu was eliminated too
I can't..... I just can't. I'm speechless but I feel like I got a lot to say. Cus what the hell is this group? I'm glad my faves didn't make it, they would've had to hard carry this group and not even get praised for doing so. Go check out universe league where actual talent is being acknowledged and praised. Beautiful vocalists such as Park Han and JL, who can actually SING (seems like it's not an expectation nowadays) have a big chance of debuting. Cus wtf you mean trainees like hanbin, heeju, yura, minseo, hyunjae, taeyu, hyunwoo did not debut???!!! The talent was right there, JTBC chose to ignore it and debut a group of trainees who still need improvement, can't sing and can only look good for the cameras. Feel quite sad for Minwook. Say it with me 'CLOSE YOUR EARS'!! Cus WTF?
changsub really carrying the show in his shoulders he never wont waste his talents
Exactly, I'm really pleased he's focusing on vocals more than he is, dance and visuals. Nowadays, as long as you look good you can debut, you're not even expected to know how to sing anymore.
Totally agree. There was so much talent that should have made it to the end. This whole group will literally have…
fr, it's a really strange mix of people. You can barely do a hip-hop concept with 1 one main rapper (they eliminated so many talented rappers - taeyu, yechan, hyunjae😪😭) and you can't even do a normal concept cus they eliminated so many main/lead vocalists. I have a feeling they'll push a boyish/cute and fluffy concept cus kenshin is currently rank 1 and JTBC love to have him in the centre, but I'm really not a fan of those kinda concepts and not a lot of those in the top 7 even suit that concept. They can't really do a mature concept, which would've suited some of the trainees you mentioned and some that I loved, cus of the amount of minors in the lineup. Overall, they lost so much talent and this lineup might flop🤷
This survival show had so much potential. So much. When i remember iconic performances like "love me or leave…
Totally agree. There was so much talent that should have made it to the end. This whole group will literally have to rely on Minwook. The whole show became a mess, I guess I should've seen it coming cus the top 7 wasn't changing much at all.
This is genuinely a show where I'm excited to see what comes next and will support the debut group no matter who makes it (maybe 2 or 3 people I'm not too keen on). But I really love that nearly everyone on this show is talented. Moving on from project 7 to this, is a breath of fresh air. I'm definitely rooting for groove team the whole way, I do love how Changsub is mainly focused on vocals. I'm currently rooting for Park han Joohyoung Woongki JL Heejun Hanseo Kairi
