Figured it out and answered my own question but if anyone else is interested in what Kim Yoon Shik bought at the vendor on her first day home it appears to be Maejakgwa ginger cookies with syrup and a kind of Injeolmi rice cake maybe rolled in roasted soybean powder. www.maangchi.com/recipes/desserts? is the site that has a lot of Korean desserts or Google Maejakgwa or Injeolmi by Maangchi. She also has videos of her making the dishes.

There are several really awesomely likable characters in SKKS. Each character stands out. I love Moon Jae Shin the most but Gu Yong-ha is a very close second. I loved them both right away. Lee Sun Joon took longer but even he was great especially after he first saw Kim Yoon Shik dressed as a girl. It got really funny after that between Moon Jae Shin and Lee Sun Joon. Awesomely funny jealousy ensues.

It's true the first couple of episodes are a bit slow but when things get going OMG it is the best. It is so freaken funny and so much cuteness leaves me with a silly smile on my face even after watching it for the fourth time.

I own the box set of this drama and have watched it maybe four times now. I love it!

Does anyone know what the street vendor is selling in the one episode were Kim Yoon Shik is feeding the street urchins? It looks like a rice dumping mochi type deal and I so want to find the recipe.

Agreed as well. Though YB is still my favorite and I have the greatest love for all the characters in that version I really really liked the ending in this one best of the three versions. I do wish they had made her look a little more like a girl though when she was acting the girl..they just threw on a dress and called it good, no hair style, no makeup or earrings? ...did no in the audience notice she looked just like Go Mi Nan? Anyway there was a lot I didn't care for in this version but there was a lot I liked too. I really have to give them kudos for the more mature romance scenes (red wine and dancing *cute*)and the actual kissing...well because...there was actual kissing. And omg I almost forgot they showed both together...I always thought they should do that in the other versions.

The first half of the drama took me forever to watch as it was so painfully trying to be identical to YB. Then it started branching out more and I liked that the romance was a little more "grown up" than either YB or IDE and honestly though I thought the acting at times strained and not as emotionally in depth as YB (which is still my favorite) I really liked the ending. I never like it when people have to leave for years just to prove love will wait..I don't like that. YB ending felt unfinished. Though it was certain she would return you never saw it. In IDE you got to see they kept in touch while she was gone and that he went to pick her up at the airport on her return it still left something to be desired. This one said "hey, I love you and you aren't going any where without me!" and I LOVED it! The kiss scenes also, WAY more grown up then the other two.

I don't think anyone can beat Jeremy in pulling off aegyo.

We were still wanting to see this and had all but given up on finding it. Thank you very much, it was on gooddrama.

Had to watch without subs also. Never read the manga so didn't have much of a clue as to what was being said. Why aren't there any subs? Don't say daily motion cause only part three is subbed so 3/4 of the movie is totally raw...at least for now. I would watch it again if I could find the subs though. Pretty juvenile on the romance though but still cute.

still looking for where to see this at. Dramacrazy shut down so that's no longer an option. Anyone else find this?

I love Jeremy and most but not all of his crazy hair styles. Some were to funny but some were very cute.

I can't agree with the low cut shirts....myself and thousands like me find it sexy. I also like the male androgynous-like look. I also find that sexy on some guys like Jang Geun Suk...not all men can carry it off and still look like a man but I think Geun Suk does an awesome job of it and it makes him all the more sexy. And no I'm not a lesbian or bi, I just like me some pretty boys. I do have to agree with the track suits though, omg sad. I also agree on the power ranger color skem...not my style.

OMG as soon as I was through with this I read on the homepage that GD had a new video out and what does it have in it?....several bathroom scenes...great music video though, musics awesome..must see.

Another scene in YB is where Go Mi Nam is on the toilet pretending to be constipated and when the mean chick (forgot name) pretends to have to throw up like she is pregnant and when Tae Kyung has to save Mi Nam from her brothers best friend in the mens room. You are so right...I have seen some of the most hilarious bathroom scenes in kdramas..some normal some so funny but enough to notice there are more than the usual amounts of bathroom use.

I loved this drama. I watched it on hulu originally. The characters are awesome and it was so funny. I bought the series and have watched it several times. One of my favorite all time. I loved the contrasts in the characters, they were all great, but my favorite guy, hands down was Moon Jae Shin..ahh so fantastic.

Hey don't forget to add devil beside you as complete. I know you've seen that one. Oh and add Why Why love to your list as it has the same three characters from Devil Beside you.

If I were going for a Cheshire cat tattoo I would totally go for the one in the game american mcgee's alice.
