As for acting it was ok for the most part. It was pretty typically of that type of show. In my opinion Kame has never been the most fantastic actor but he's not bad and seems to always put his all into it and his emotions are always great in everything I have seen him in but what Kame does best is look good and you could have totally seen him fit right into a bishonen manga or anime he was so like a beautiful god with is soft features and some scenes bordered on OH MY GOD I CAN ALMOST SEE HIS... which is why I watched it to begin with.
As for the story, I thought the idea of humanities struggle to find the good in themselves was all well and good but it got very repetitive and old very fast. For me, the main reason I watched it was for Kame and on thinking about it, if he had not been in it I don't think I would have even picked it up to watch but Kame was in it and the eye candy was more than enough for me to finish the series so I don't feel like a wasted time watching it. So If you like Kame then yeah if not the Bem character was still cool and to me the best Belo and Bela where ok. I loved the Detective and his family as well as the other side family so the characters were still pretty good so maybe still worth watching.

The story was a bit slow; more of story based then just action though it had a decent amount. The action that was in it was pretty great. The old guy had some mad skills. The fight scenes were really well done and very smooth. It was worth watching just for that. The story was sweet with a touch of sad. There was some mild graphic moments so not really for kids.

I also thought the J-version did very well in voicing Ren and Mio\''s like for each other. \"Ren\" the Hwang Tae Kyung of this version grew on me pretty fast. So I was able to accept him quickly. \"Mio\" the Go Mi Nam of this version is very good also and is pretty much the same in either version to me just not quite as ditzy acting. The other two main guys I never really excepted very well I can\''t even remember there names in J-version. Sadly, it was too hard for me not to compare them to Jeremy and Shin woo. But the story is not entirely the same so it was different enough to keep me interested. I still liked it a lot because the story is still a great one.

I do wish it had more romance and more passion and a better chemistry with the leads though. There were some changes but I liked some of them (like the end). I had to watch the end again just because. Not that it was fantastic, it wasn't at all but I was just so happy they changed the ending it didn't even bother me that it was like a minute long and I wanted a more finished thorough ending.
If I hadn't seen the anime I might have been more lost or more disappointed I don't know but you can't pack a whole series into one movie without losing something. Also the actors didn't really look much like the characters from the series either but they were cute. I guess they felt they had to tone it down a bit. George, yeah left something to be desired but I think some of that was because they left out all the sex and touchy feely parts. The anime Georgie was a poker face and I was never sure what he was thinking since he never said how he felt. In the movie I thought he expressed his feeling fairly well considering they never had sex in the movie. I will be watching it again.
