tbvh the seo yeji drama was so ridiculous, she didnt deserve to be cancelled over something so trivial. anyway, these random reporters and ""sources"" claiming to release the "truth" on 25th october is also v sus, but gonna wait for it nonetheless. they just feel like money grabbing reporters, ngl. but we gotta wait and see. im sure they both apologized bc of settlement, and ksh chose to gave a vague reply so as not to reveal more details. but im sure more info will follow with time, apparently salt ent. is looking into the matter to clear his name. right now all of these are just "claims"

I AGREEE. how ridiculous, they literally drive them to this dreadful position. and once theyre involved in some controversy or scandal theyre so quick to cast them aside. absolutely inhumane to control someones life like this all for money. i hate it. i hope he and every idol suffering from the Kindustry learns and grows from the pain that theyve been caused. actually ridiculous!

i think the major problem lies with the unrealistic and out of the world image of idols we think is important. we dont think theyre human and expect them to be perfect in all ways, and its our perspective that drives agencies to the extent that theyre driven to to make such strict rules and regulations that drive these idols to make all of these rash and toxic decisions. his stance on abortion was because of the fine he'd had to pay. the idol himself isnt solely at fault, its the toxic industry that hes in. and the toxic fans, people who expect them to be flawless and cancel them when they show signs of being human. were all humans guys, we were all toxic once. just cus we were toxic once doesnt mean that we shouldnt get a shot at redemption. idols are humans, they can be driven to do shitty things too. just cuz our toxicity is private and stays private, and their's is public doesnt make their's public property. idk, some random thoughts after this whole scandal.

all of the people saying how could fangirls still support him and one shouldnt be this blinded. i agree, nothing that anyone can say and do will make him less of an ass, a terrible partner. however, one of the reasons i hate cancel culture is that they expect a person to be perfect, and in the case that theyre not, theyre made subject to such public humiliation and backlash. yall, we have the luxury that we're not famous and not in this line of work to have all our past become the public's domain more than their own. i agree, that these people are able to live their luxurious lives due to public support, but in that support nowhere do they mention that they are flawless individuals and that they'll continue to be flawless. you support them cus you support them, whatever your reasons may be. but i do think its a bit unfair on these individuals, just because their lives are public they get to become the villain and loose their means of living and career just cus of a shitty breakup. everyone has a shitty breakup, but you dont see them losing their careers over it. the two individuals had a toxic relationship, of which we only know of the woman's side. not to defend ksh, but i think its very immature to just get up and believe a post on the internet, no receipts, no proof, just blindly believe a person's word for what it is. i am all about encouraging the victim to come forward as that requires immense strength and courage, however, we should do so responsibly, not blindly. as is the other way around, we shouldnt just blindly support an actor just cuz we like him. in my personal opinion, there are many statements that i find to be sus on the womans end, and i think the situation is a lot more complicated to blindly ruin a mans whole career over it (agencies play a huge role, and we possible cannot know all of the ins and outs a very personal relatiohship.) both who're defending him and both who're cancelling him should consider the situation with more individual responsibility, in my opinion.
in my very personal opinion, i think there is more to this than meets the eye. abortion was carried out under the legal terms, they were together for almost year after, and then they broke up. (all of this from ONE perspective, mind you, and apologies are a very standard procedure in KEnt.) both parties had misunderstandings, they've apologized and settled. i dont think theres more we need to say about this as fans. i dont think we need to cancel him, and i dont think we have more to do with this.

i agree!! i think all of this is too fishy and well timed (near his contract expiration) to just be an old angry ex, the way news channels started using his blurred images despite Actor K being anonymous and unnamed, the way dominos and endorsements pulled out even before confirming whether it was him or not. the way she just pulled out saying it was a misunderstanding, this definitely goes beyond the normal scandal. idk, i could be wrong and i dont want to be seen as overly defending him, i just find something sus about it all, is all. to me, ksh might be victim to something more than we might realise.
the entire scandal makes him an immature and shitty partner, but not a bad/abusive person. dont get me wrong, emotional and psychological abuse is very much real and no one should tell what women should do with their bodies, but there must be more to this than just one persons account. idk. im a bit skeptical, i hope whoever is at fault here karma comes out to get them.

I SWEAR. the whole situation was fishy from the get go and its getting even weirder. i dont know what to say or think. but as adults they should have solved this matter privately. uff. like if her misunderstanding was enough to ruin his whole career that literally just started and she feels bad about it now, maybe she should have resolved it privately. i swear nothing makes sense. i just hope each of them get what they deserve, be it good or bad.

but i agree w you, gamri halmoeni's death may seem unnecessary, added to the plot about new beginnings, and forgiveness. she was his rock, but needed to learn to survive on his own now. be the bigger person himself, support himself. it was heartbreaking, but a part of the theme of the drama. truly, truly so beautiful and heart touching. loved it.
