i'm sorry but for those that are cursing the production crew and staff or blaming them for yihyun's elimination, and purposely rating the series down.. i hope that you can understand that since we don't know what rule she broke, we almost cannot blame it on anyone, if she herself knows she violated some rule and has apologised for it, even her ex knew. then it must have been something that she did and she knows, there are rumors that she got an boyfriend during filming but who knows. (she and mingi might have gotten back tgt since he left as well) the production crew didn't "SHIFT ALL THE ATTENTION TO YIHYUN", all of them had their ample screentime, it was just yihyun was interesting, she's an interesting person, the fact that she's really pretty also plays a part that MANY people would look at her more, that's why more people are more attached to her, i feel like all of you know it deep down in ur heart at least. all i can say is that the production crew had no choice but to do it, from what i know, they are really nice people, you can see that from season 1 alone, they were really caring towards the cast, even letting them go home whenever they want to and they supported their decisions, it's not meant to be a survival show or a strict rule show. even when pd&director lee jin joo was saying her speech for the blue dragon series awards, you know that she's sincere in her work and she's genuinely nice. all i want to say is that, don't blame anyone since we don't know everything behind the cameras, you want to drop the series because yihyun is no longer here? go ahead, no one has a problem with that, but the problem is you pinning the blame when we don't know the whole truth. that's what i feel at least.
wow okay, this movie was really better than i thought. keeps you at the edge of your seat the whole time, and it plays with your emotions as well. there really isn't a "villain / antagonist" in this movie, the "bomber" (ji changwook) was a victim as well, the main lead (jo woojin) isn't a good guy 100% as well, something like an antihero..(?) at the end, i don't even know who and why i was crying for.
the police? stupid as usual, no doubt. the only smart one was the head of EOD, who figured out stuff more quickly.
what was disappointing? the bomber was going to kill himself together with the male lead, but honestly i would've either wished for both of them to die together. or for both of them to live, them living would give the male lead a chance to redeem himself and know his wrongdoings and JCW to witness it. ik he tried to wake him up under the water but was hoping that he would carry him out together with him to try to survive. but unfortunately he still died and ML lived, though the good part is that he still redeemed himself after he survived.
it wasn't a full thought on detailed plot, there's still plotholes here and there, but it delivered. simple, clean and the actors all gave it their all into their performances. even with JCW's voice alone, he still killed it. very exciting yet emotional movie 9.5/10
