2 more episodes left :( for new drama/makjang watchers, please understand that penthouse is a makjang drama, no logic and common sense is supposed to make up for it, the writer herself said that this drama is ridiculous and will not be logical, so please just watch it for entertainment sake, if you rly don't like it, just drop it. hope that clears up

ahh, tbh when i was watching this i got rly angry because of the abusive corruption in the military, and thought about how much i hated it, it rly did put a light on the dark side of national service, the abuses men had to go through in the army, probably not only in Korea, but any country that needs to serve NS. even at the end, nothing was changed even though CBS 'have to do something' in order to change the corruption and abuse, the abuse still continued. but everything was nicely done, acting, cinematography, etc. hoping to see a season 2 :>

honestly aside from the cinematography and the acting, the plot got too messy and it's honestly quite boring, the crime plot of this drama is too confusing and i lost track and attention. if there's someone who perfectly understood the whole crime plot of CJM and Ian, please please explain it to me starting from the beginning

i think they only wrote poorly for the progressive episodes, the last 2 episodes were written quite well, though they could have 'shown more'(?)

the progress episodes were slow and not very interesting but the last 2 episodes were really good, i don't know why are there so many unsatisfactory comments about the last episode but imo it was really good. the bad guys got what they deserved from 'the devil judge', it was not meant to be a 'oh go by the book' kind of justice where they just end up in jail, ep 16 was a 10/10 but overall 9.5. i really don't feel like they rushed the ending although we could have gotten more insights but wasn't very very necessary, the last episode even got extended to 1h35min anws, give it a try

Ga On had no plans to get Yo Han out of jail, watch carefully, everyone thought Yo Han was dead in jail, yes, Ga On was really going to kill himself with Chief Min because he thought that that was the way to get his revenge and atone for Soo Hyun's death. The Dream House project got out to the public, so we can assume that all of them at the clinical trial was saved afterwards. Ga On did say nothing has changed at the end because in reality, people are hard to change, now without Yo Han, it's even harder because there is no 'Devil Judge' left to punish the bad ones, so Ga On has to find a way to build a better society without Yo Han in it, that's why Yo Han asked Ga On to 'do it right'. Sun Ah killed herself, that was the only 'good deed' she can do at the end, she wasn't entirely bad in a sense that she wanted to destroy the country like President Heo, if you watched carefully you can see her having a breakdown when she saw the Dream House project, so she killed herself due to guilt as well. I hope that clears it up for you

If you watch it in a carefree mindset, subcharacters, overall feel of the show then you can enjoy it without caring much about the main couple, since people have different opinions on their relationship.
