Exactly my thoughts… when he acts like that he comes across as overly controlling even though he appears to be a chill dude on the outside I don't know what's gone into him the last 2-3 episodes

you likely just became accustomed to it..I haven't noticed as much as I have in the first three episodes, and since I'm more engaged in the plot, I'm not too concerned about it
He already has two dramas with romance coming out this year, so why would this movie need it? Besides, it's a movie, so I doubt it'll feature romance...
I'm not sure if she would date him after whatever happened to Jang Dong Yoo character but in a highlight clip on twitter, Choo Young Woo character was leaning in for a kiss with Seol In Ah character, even tho they didn't show them actually kissing
