I will never understand why these great stars sign up for Fantasy and crappy type shows. The same for Lee Min-Ho…
fantasy and crappy type shows’ but the drama isn’t even out yet, nor do we know what the story is... so why are you calling it garbage when you don’t know anything at all? 😂
Anyway, just cuz you didn’t like when the stars gossip aired doesn’t mean every big actor's drama will be the same. also how does that drama even correlate to this one? They’re not even the same genre, writer or director 😭😭 . If you’re not into fantasy, that’s totally fine, but dismissing another drama before it even airs doesn’t really seem fair.
you saying 'these great stars sign up for Fantasy and crappy type shows' I don’t know much about the other "stars" so I can’t go into detail about them but when it comes to ji chang wook, you really can’t say he plays it safe—he’s constantly switching genres and challenging himself....besides liking the script, this fantasy project is probably something he wanted to try since he hasn’t done it much. also unlike both big actors who do dramas every few years, jcw has been picking up scripts every few months.. for example this year alone he has 4 projects lined up and all of his new dramas that aired have been really good too... have you watched them?
If scandal is more your thing, I hope you enjoy that... I’m also looking forward to it but it’s a little harsh to write off a whole genre just based on one drama. Just saying 😁😁*
That’s just how articles are—they’ll say anything to push a narrative. If there was actual rumored tension, it would’ve been all over twitter by now. Even osen didn’t mention anything about this when they released the casting news... unless whoever wrote that has some legit insider info, I wouldn’t trust it
His agency is working really hard and thank goodness he left the other one cuz his female leads have been on fire lately... son ye jin?? jun ji hyun back to back? jeon do yeon?? shin hye sun?? bibi back to back?? etc
The scripts have been crazy too... and the dramas he was rumored for or turned down were just as wild, especially the superhero one (the cast for that was nuts lol)... then there was the pirate disney drama with ryu seung ryong and the serial-killer drama with go hyun jung that he passed on.... crazy 🫠🫠
true but chemistry doesn't = romance/love interest
son ye jin and ji chang wook could still have amazing onscreen chemistry without being paired romantically. It’s all about the energy they bring to the scenes and since they're prolly going to have a lot of scenes together that's to be expected from veteran actors
Even IF he were to return, what actress wouid agree to be FL from now on😅😅, aside from supporting/enabling…
no fr like who would actually want to work with him at this point?
but tbh actors and actresses will keep it professional. When they get a script, they usually don’t even know who else is cast. It’s not like they’re picking roles based on who their co-star is—they’re choosing based on the script they like or the opportunity. Imagine accepting a role cuz you love the script, then later finding out ksh is in it. What are you supposed to do? Drop out and let an article come out saying, "this actress rejected a role cuz of ksh"? That would create a whole different mess especially from ksh fans with no brain cells
And let’s be real—being a female actress/celeb in korea is already one of the hardest jobs out there. The smallest thing can ruin their entire career even things that aren’t their fault. If anything, they have to be extra careful, and turning down roles for reasons like this
