Compared to other thrillers I’ve seen, this one is actually going pretty fast. We are only in episode 10 but LOTS of things have already been revealed. We know that to have a normal life ML needs to prove his innocence, but it seems so easy and obvious at the moment (if you guys understand what I mean by "easy") and by that I've this feeling that we will having a sad ending

I don't think FL is being cruel. It is a fact that when they met he made (some)things very clear to her, but despite everything we can forgive several bad acts of others after all we are all human and we make mistakes all the time, but in doing so we do not expect the person we love to be a killer (and maybe, since nothing is confirmed yet, hiding this for 14 years) . She found herself caught between being a police officer investigating the case and the wife of the main suspect.
