It was perfect until ep23Now it is a crazy trainwreckEp27 will back the light (from the preview27...)...after…
I read the novel too, it is good but to be honest I am not a fan of how the writer wrote this exact part in the novel. I didn't like how they made Sang Yan mad at her and how Sang Yan in the novel handled her traumas. This was the part I dreaded in the drama adaptation before I thought they would stick to it but luckily they didn't, I am actually thankful to this change because Sang Yan is more understanding here and stuck to how Sang Yan should have been.

After reading some opinions and thoughts on twitter I feel even better about this change now. It does make a bit…
the novel is good, I liked it but yeah this part of how Sang Yan handled this part of the story in the novel left a bitter taste in my mouth, so this change in the drama is better and stuck to Sang Yan the one who loved her unconditionally and effortlessly... I always had a problem with his resentment towards her, how he threw that mad feat at her but thankfully here in the drama they handled it better and made Sang Yan more understanding.

Title The First Frost Spoiler
yes this part in the novel bothered me about his character too, so i am glad about this change
I am glad I am not the only one who found this plot in the novel absurd. I was so bothered by it, that when I found out it will have drama adaptation this was the arc I was worried about but I am really glad they changed that part because I really disliked that part of the novel. Sang Yan's way of handling her trauma was so not Sang Yan coded thing to do. Luckily now in the drama with this change, we can see him handling it better and understanding her and not downplaying her trauma. Yeah I feel like that is the reason why some are fumed 😂 because changing this part will change that part too lol

I actually didnt like this part in the novel because they made Sang Yan mad at her there so I am glad they changed…
yes I get what you are saying, I have been bothered by this part in the novel. So this was the part of the drama I was worried about but it turned better than expected and I am glad. Exactly that is what I like more, they made him more understanding of her trauma instead of throwing that feat at her. Now we see him being more understanding and yes that resentment is atleast not much we can see how much more he cares.

On The Story of Pearl Girl Nov 23, 2024
I just finished watching this drama today and it's a perfect 10/10 for me.
Lusi is such a wonderful actress, words can't put enough how much I admire her acting talent. I started to like Liu Yuning too, only knew him through this drama. They both have great chemistry together and am going to miss seeing Duan Wu and Yan Zi Jing tgt. This drama has been such a meaningful journey about growth, life and love ❤️

On Love Next Door Oct 3, 2024
Seokryu's ex loved her best self and couldn't see her being weak. He wanted to pull her up from rock bottom and to be strong again by herself, like who she was before everything that happened to her. While Seunghyo is willing to hit the rock bottom with her and rise up together along with her. Seunghyo loves her throughout all her phases, even the one when she was vulnerable and also the phase when she tried to hide everything from the world. Definitely Hyeonjun is a good person who loved her, but his way of love is not the one which is right for her. She needed a love like the way Seunghyo loves her. His love is courageous no matter what circumstances, his love has no limit and is the type of love that could knock down no matter how many walls she built around herself.

I personally liked how they played the dialogues in this drama. During their break-up scene in the US, Hyeonjun is worried that they will hit rock bottom with the way things were going, but Seokryu is already at rock bottom and knew that Hyeonjun would eventually be dragged to the bottom with her if they stay together. In the neighborhood park scene, during Seunghyo and Seokryu's argument, Seunghyo says, "so what if we hit rock bottom together".

This drama perfectly shows no matter how good a person is to you, even if you know it so well in your heart but if you are just not meant to be together, it is better to let go than to force and ruin the goodness you once had. Seokyru's cry on the airport scene is not a sign she is inlove with Hyeonjun, but she is saying farewell for all the good times they had shared and she knew it was nobody's fault.

As I mention all of these, I want to bring light to what happened with the recent episode. This is heavily connected to the reason of Seokryu's rejection as she is afraid she will suffer again and what happened between her and Hyeonjun, might end up happening to her and Seunghyo. She loves Seunghyo a lot which is why she is engulfed in fear of hurting him and ruining what they have for each other, so she sort of pushed him away. However, Seunghyo's love for her is resilient and once again managed to break down her walls proving yet again, how they are meant for each other.

sorry for the long essay.

I agree with your analysis of the two women's characters - but it means the writer isn't really interested in…
my opinions greatly differ from you since I relate and experience most of the life struggles being portrayed here myself, but you do you.
