I totally agree! However, I have read that the director is keeping this rated PG for younger viewers. So far I am enjoying their slow passion and getting to know each other. Changge is not trusting of anyone since she has suffered a great deal. I do understand why it takes time for her character to find love when she has been in so much pain.

Hu Dao's character will grow after episode 31. Leyan will show him what love is. She will teach him compassion and empathy for Changge. She experienced a lot of growth since she was kidnapped and had to survive this helps her to understand what compassion and empathy means. So she can teach Hu Dao.

Leyan will help Hudao learn to understand what love and compassion is all about. His character will change for the better because for once someone loves him.

Is he royalty? Perhaps a young crown prince?

Princess Agent also did really well with a strong female character yet lack of romance. The clip hanger ended did not do it justice. The Long Ballad is doing extremely well regardless of the all the ridiculous negative comments in the beginning. I hope they will have a sequel. I would love to see what Leo look like in a few years. He is becoming like a young Leo Dicaprio who later matured into a great actor. I see the same qualities.

Great points! I too see the character development progression is necessary for Sun and Changge. They will be a much better team without personal vendetta and will be able to unite together happily. The fight seen was hilarious! I had to rewind that scene several times to get a good laugh. Boys!

He too has a lot of growing up to do. The writers are helping him become more human with the change is really good for to showcase his acting ability. He is doing a fine job.

No wonder he looks so familiar. I was thinking of The Untamed. He would make a great second lead / love triangle for them. He is very attractive!
