it’s sad for everyone besides the ML xiaoyao, he gets a somewhat decent ending, mostly for 1 thing, if you want i will tell you what he “gets”.
in general i consider it a bittersweet sad ending

i finished this drama yesterday.

gonna grief and cry over the end for a few days more ngl tho
