This is easily my absolute favorite part of the entire HIStory series! Xiao Li Cheng and Teng Mu Ren completely carried the entire show for me—their explosive chemistry, hilarious dynamic, and intense romantic tension were pure perfection. Honestly, I didn't care for the second couple at all, but the main pairing is so magnificent that it makes the whole drama worth watching over and over again.

This drama is really cool, especially with the dark mafia plot and Tang Yi's intense charisma. However, Meng Shao Fei irritated me quite a bit. His childish behavior, lack of professional boundaries, and that desperate, loud 'pick me' energy towards Tang Yi were hard to handle at times. Still, a classic worth watching for the crime storyline!
