Honestly the beginning really did capture me but like the other comment said somewhere towards the end it got too unnecessarily messy. It wasn’t bad, just really not needed.
Also another comment somewhere described the novel male lead as a wet noodle and I couldn’t agree more. I have absolutely NO IDEA what being a wet noddle means but it somehow describes the novel male lead perfectly 💀😂
You know you would think the 6.9 rating would make me not watch this but no no no I had to go and find out on my own how bad this show really was 😭 I mean have I seen worse? Ofc I have but man this wasn’t too good either 😂

Yea it was aight. I think I probs watched it at a faster speed cuz I don’t drop shows. I personally like the 2ml but it was an easy watch. (I literally finished watching it like yesterday? The day before? And I have no memory of it. These small shows tend to do that to me 😂)

It’s the same actors. And kinda the same plot but it’s not continuing from the first one. If you enjoyed the first one you’ll like this one too. I thought I would be disappointed but I wasn’t. Still enjoyable. Now on to the next Jiang shi qi drama 🤭
