Review Sweet Home
I haven't read the webtoon but this kind of makes me want to read it just to see what changed. I feel like because…
I encourage you to read it! Timeline-wise, they've gone past the ending of the webtoon, so you won't have to worry about being spoiled for the potential season 2. And the webtoon just explains everything better and can actually help you understand the drama

lol while I was writing this I read a little about the webtoon and I could see how deeper and bigger it was, especially…
They filmed and finished the drama before the webtoon ended so that's probably another reason.

They could possibly add in a popular monster they left out, but that monster doesn't really add much story-wise

The drama after ep4 did not follow the webtoon much, so s1 didn't do everything from the webtoon. But with the s1 ending and overall changes, there really isn't a way for the drama to take important scenes from the webtoon anymore. That and there it would be too much money and even with CGI, would be practically impossible to recreate

I think you might be okay to read the webtoon now. The drama has a completely different ending and I cannot see anything significant from the webtoon's ending being added to the season 2 since it would make things out of order~

As someone who read the webtoon first, DO NOT read it before you watch the drama if you haven't already. The webtoon is amazing and your mind will get clouded with all the changes made instead of appreciating the drama by itself.

It just feels like character relationships were watered down (or just changed) and some deaths were pointless.…
Exactly!!! The drama was more "fight" oriented and it took away the humane aspects of the webtoon that made it so emotional

I can relate. Huge fan of webtoon here as well. Can't help but compare the two. Guess that's the disadvantage…
It's kinda sad cause on its own, the drama is pretty good, but when using the webtoon as reference it just falls flat

I would've enjoyed this much more if I wasn't a huge fan of the webtoon :/
It just feels like character relationships were watered down (or just changed) and some deaths were pointless. The monsters were beat too easily when compared to the webtoon and were basically not even an issue in the last episodes.

Okay, I realize that you were not talking about dubbing. I was just informing you that they in fact are mostly dubbed by someone else. I do not care about you're opinions on the actress and did not even share my opinion on the actress. I think you need to re-evaluate your attitude, especially if you are this aggressive when I literally just informed you about dubbing.

I don't know if you are new to Chinese dramas or not, but most of the time the dub is done by voice actors and not the actors themselves.

Its a bit more complicated than that. The ending is just not sad, it is a sad ending for the GAY couple while…
The people who hate it purely because they didn't get their "fujoshi fantasy" are the ones who are crybabies. Not the ones who have an actual reason to as to why they don't like the ending. My original statement ("Maybe its because I'm not a crybaby who hates endings just cause they're sad") states who exactly I'm calling a crybaby so I'm not understanding why you and others think I'm calling everyone a crybaby. I think you need to reread my original comment. WayKim's story was beautiful without having to tear down the other couple. I will not repeat myself again.

I'm calling the people who hate on the ending solely because they didn't get the couple they want as crybabies. And you assuming that I only cared about my opinion while ignoring other's is condescending. Stop being a hypocrite. The people who had an actual reason that wasn't just "it's a bl why didnt the gay couple get a happy ending", especially when it wasn't marketed as mainly a bl, are the people I'm referencing.

I'm not insulting anyone but you can think whatever you want. I find it funny how you're telling me not to insult other people when you're doing the same to me. Also, I have listened to other's opinions, but I'm sorry. I'm not gonna absolutely trash on an ending just because they didn't get a totally happy ending. It just seems too childish to do that.

I agree that doing something like that would've made it more clear that something was wrong with Kim.

I was not talking about just one lesson, I was talking about all the lessons.

In my opinion, Pan shouldn't sacrifice herself just for someone else's happiness. Just like Way and Kim, she deserved love too. It doesn't matter that she's a "shipper," she's a human being with her own life before that.
